This weeks journey on the FL5. Had to drop the hood off at my painters to get a dent and scratches fixed, installed the lowering springs, couldn’t install my te37s because the lug nuts were too short… other odds and ends. I hope you enjoy!

I needed some turbo noises in my life so I tossed the stock intake and turbo inlet pieces for a couple PRL goodies. I also swapped the stock diverted valve for a Boomba racing valve. Of course I had to powder coat a few parts to make them stand out 😍. Finally finished the hydro to cable clutch swap on my twin cam road glide. It took me a couple of months; life happened, work happened, I lost motivation, picked up other projects… whatever the excuse may be. But it’s finally done! I couldn’t find ANY info on it online at all… talked to one person on Facebook that had done it and they gave me most of the components but forgot the pressure plate...

Testing out a few Scott Coates parts. I only tested one tip and was impressed by the spray, I didn’t purchase it for the spray though, I purchased it because of the durability. The hose barb was the main purpose of this video. BLUF, if you use a box feed, buy this barb! It creates a vortex of powder heading to your gun to create a larger cloud and better disbursement of powder. I was impressed!...

Picked up a kf-x1 (gema clone) a couple of weeks ago. Overall I love it! Best gun in the 2k price range, you won’t find a better gun until you hit the $4000 range. Faraday areas? Never heard of them. Color change, quick and easy. Clean up, it has self clean!(not perfect)

Just giving a little overview of my new toy, the HTMR blast gun. I’m a big fan, emits defiantly an upgrade from my previous setup. I was only using 110 psi and my compressor wasn’t working half as hard as it typically does.

Powder coated a set of kmc bead locks today in gloss black and bronze. The plastic center caps were coated using bronze powder and a heat gun. I didn’t video that portion.

Hi, Hi, are there any problems driving with the brake calipers mounted with the bleeder screw at the top and therefore the large piston at the bottom? Since they have asymmetrical pistons, the one with a small diameter must be facing downwards.... I don't make trackday, can there be problems with braking and brake pad wear when driving on the road? Thanks
Do the stock brake lines work with this swap or aftermarket stainless lines. Great info
Stock lines work but I recommend SS braided lines.

Ap2 bolts have 4 holes. Ap1 bolts have 2 holes.

@@4stroh1gheg02 no, I don’t have the link. I ordered and used this tool over 3 years ago. I measured the center caps and ordered the wrench based off the measurements. I think I got it off eBay.

Would you need the tl pads
Yes, what other pads would you use on TL calipers?
Look at my other videos about the swap, I show which pads I used. Even give the part numbers.
So I am doing this myself but I am not sure to get s2000 rotors and pads or just go with tl or even nsx rotors
Depends on how much extra work and extra money you want to spend. I didn’t want to buy nsx rotors.

Best thing really is to stay on stock manifold and extrude hone it.
If you run a spacer instead of shaving the caliper mounts would the wheel not still fit exactly the same? The wheel mounts to the rotor which is sandwiched between the hub and the wheel so it would space the wheel out enough to clear it just the same as if you shaved the ears of the caliper. If you need a 5mm space with the ears shaved you’ll need the exact same spacer on the outside of the rotor for fitment anyways. I suppose at that point it would be kind of sketchy for the studs but if your wheels fit with just a 7mm spacer you’d be good to go. They do sell extended studs for the hub regardless though. The inserts I can somewhat understand though but I mean it’s common to do on other brakes such as the older dodge durangos that are known to strip the slide pins on the calipers.
That’s not why you shave the calipers.
I’m not trying to assist people with wheel offsets. You shave them so you can use oem rotors.
Hey dude. Just curious if you still had these wheels and finished them? I got the same vs x9's. Hardest part about these wheels is sourcing replacement center caps. They're apparently one off and have a much bigger base than the other work vs wheels. I so want to get red gel caps for them with gold lettering but at my wits end.
I finished them, never used them, sold them and now I’m refinishing them right now in gold and flat black. I got center caps from a guy that makes custom acrylic parts. I think he’s out of business now though because he started scamming people. Just measure the center, find someone that does acrylic work and get them made however you’d like.

It does suck it doesn't come throttle bracket and iacv port i understand about thhe iavc valve, its for full racing engines , iacv is not important when your full race, as far as the injectors fitment on the main ports are sized up for kseries style injectors and secondary injector ports are machine for your f20c injectors which I think are your standard injectors style, but im in the process of engineering this intake manifold to be streetable, so far got iacv adaptor to fit stock f20c iacv autocaded up, but haven't had the chance to cnc this part out yet, for my turbo s2000, but ill keep y'all updated if I'm successful with this projector
They’ve completely redesigned the intake manifold since I made this video 4+ years ago… the original manifold wasn’t built for a f20. I still wouldn’t buy one, to each their own.

@@StonebrookRecords at 150k, if it’s never been changed I’d change it just to be safe. If you’ve never timed a F20c be careful. It’s easy to mess up, I did another video about it.

I've been working on cars for over 15 years and have never seen or heard of a hammer drill being used on ANYTHING other than masonry.
It clearly says in the video that I got a cheap drill specifically for this job. I’ve never used a hammer drill for anything else. Thanks for the comment though!

@Michael Ruble I'm thinking the issues aren't all applicable. IAC & IAT... neither are on the IM of DBW. So curious if maybe this manifold was more geared for those models

I just don’t like the throttle body’s from them and suspension parts too they suck junk2 for sure but the cams and intake manifold beast never had in issues with them going on 4 years with the parts
Jose_DC2 never had a problem with their cams honestly. Their intake manifold for the s2k is hot garbage. Did a review on it a couple years back. It’s posted on here.
Wonderful for real! I own a right hand drive S2000. I'm going SC too but seems hard for that to hit >600hp. Tuners tell me go turbo which I won't. I've heardd you saying you went SC on yours, what's about that?
Alessio Cazzaniga you won’t hit 600 with sc, not even with e85. I went sc with this one.

Mehdi Naqvi thank you. The engine is high temp engine enamel. The intake, timing cover and valve cover are all powder coated.
Michael Ruble thanks for the reply. In your opinion, would powder coating the engine block be too risky? I’m rebuilding my f20c and was thinking about doing something similar
Mehdi Naqvi I have never powder coated a block but I want to. I know people have done it with zero issues. Next time I do a full test down, I’ll do the entire engine.

Karl Taht why would I change the cams or compression? Honda got that perfect.
@@moneypitgaragellc483 the engine was made with two different compression ratios anyway, so I'm not sure how that claim holds.

I heard the runners are wider than the ports on the head so flow is terrible unless you port the head to match. How true is this? Thanks
MadVtec YO the ports didn’t match well at all. I just tried to make the intake flow better by cleaning the casting which was HORRIBLE, but I didn’t port match which it did need.
