Wow ! What a hard driving gem. That track alone is enough to make me want to acquire that album.

Startet this (to me unknown song) while I was cooking and ended up body shaking in the kitchen and giving shit about my meal. What an incredible experince and what a god damn underrated Band... Shit... I had Sex that was worse than this title.

Saw Every date on Their UK tour promoting this Album, Every night was simply awesome, Ironically only 50 or so people were at The Red Lion Pub in Leytonstone and that concert was the best of the lot, being a small venue made "Brocks" light Show all the more Brilliant, Great Band, Under-rated, But Not By Me.

Listened to it while on acid, quite a ride - far out!

Stuff being played at bars and clubs here in the Jersey club scene.cover bands were primo entertainment then along with the original touring bandd.quite a fertile music scene back then.

You want to talk about an under-rated band that came close to being an original and creative offshoot of a Pink Floyd style -- I offer Nektar with Roye Albrighton. These guys were incredible and this album Sounds Like This (1973 - recorded in Germany) was one of their best. Iron Maiden covered two of their songs. When a major label got their claws into them they turned them into a more commercially viable group and it fizzled. As well played as their 7th album Magic Is a Child was (without the late Roye Albrighton) that was the death knell. Shorter songs, insipid titles but it got good reviews. Their hardcore fans balked. From recording in Germany and England to a studio in NJ. Good grief. It did have wonderful melodies and performance but the edge was gone, the originality and the intenseness. Ameican FM rock radio abandoned them. But, I liked them enough to stick with them.

This LP is one of those which I've been playing more and more. In part because I'm a believer (not quite Catholic, but sympathetic) and because I love me some psych rock.

This is good, but I much prefer the Electric Prunes' Mass In F Minor, which came out a few years earlier.
