When I was a kid, Christmas arrived on Christmas Eve with the tree going up in the living room. All the family would gather and exchange gifts before we all left to go to Midnight Mass in a great freezing barn of a church. We celebrated Christmas until 12th Night when the tree was piled on a huge community bonfire and burnt. It is interesting to note that I do not clearly remember the gifts that I received. What I do remember is the laughter and smiling faces of my family.

When I hear these christmas songs ...it feminds me of when I was little ...having the best holidays with my family.

I love this beautiful music when people cherished beautiful lyrics that were godly and good. This music and the way it is sung makes us feel so much closer to God because we sing and rejoice to these wonderful lyrics. God you get all the glory for all the good that we feel because all things good and glorious come from you Most Gracious One.

It’s late spring and I still like to drop in here and there to enjoy a few carols to build my anticipation for the best time of year.

Octogenarian here. The Lyn Murray Singers bring back memories of rural life at Christmas in the 1950s, when the celebration of Jesus's birth came first and Santa Claus was an amusing second in a poem meant for children. Choral singing was meant to express the spirit in the carols, not an exhibition of the talent of one individual singer. That's what I like about this presentation.

Although the beauty of Christmas was 18 Days ago, it already seems like many months, how i wish the love would last from Christmas to Christmas, sadly it mostly ends on January 1st leaving a feeling of sadness and longing for the return of the Season of love...❤

Really hoping it snows this winter because I just love the snow. It reminds me when I was a little girl. That Christmas turkey all of dinner presents under the tree when you wake up it’s just the favorite thing about Christmas… but my most favorite thing is spending time with my family.❤💕🌨️

I miss these kind of Christmases. Everyone was so happy. Every care of people will come up to your door amd sing like bring us some piggy pudding reminding me when I was a child so lovely is Christmas is my favorite time of year I would put it up nice little Christmas town on my shelves. It was so lovely. My husband kept making me put it down. I kept saying never as I love Christmas. It was my favorite time of year. I almost keep it for like the next month and it never would go down. I just love my decorations reminds me so much of Christmas my favorite time when I was a little child I still love it ❤❤💕🌨️

I miss Christmas like this he used to be better. Everything was beautiful. The snow is everywhere and everyone was so nicer but now in this world, some people just I just not right just don’t care. How people don’t really care about Christmas not a very nice world I miss the old world we’re everyone so happy together the carols when people come up to their door and sing Carols❤

I miss the simpler Christmases of decades past. We were more ignorant in many ways back then, but many things were better back in the 70s to 80s. The nice thing about Christmas carols is that they sound so traditional and not simply festive but reverent.
