Wow
This is how every girl in LA is taught to speak by their brain dead peers. Even news anchors are speaking like this now and it's just one more aspect of how American culture embraces stupidity.
People being shocked at seeing million dollar actors being good at acting

One day Americans might finally understand that there is no ONE single "British" accent(see vids below!). Scottish, Welsh and N.Ireland accents are more different to most English(as in 'England') accents than American accents are. And some Scottish or regional UK accents are almost impossible for most Brits let alone Americans to understand! ! Here're some UK accent videos that all Americans should watch at regular intervals: czcams.com/video/FyyT2jmVPAk/video.html czcams.com/video/-8mzWkuOxz8/video.html Paul G
From one annoying accent to an insufferable one
Whats her name?
I didn’t know there was such a thing as a Los Angeles accent.
Its funny that the British can nail the american accent, but the Americans cannot really pull off the British accent, they always seem to over do it.
Let's hear more!
What's her name?
I didn’t even notice the switch
Greatest ever? they all do it lol So many bands I didn't know were foreign until I heard interviews lol
She's Alice Eve
Brits grew up watching american TV and listening to american music artists, most of us can do the accent
I think its because we suck so bad at faking a british accent that we are in such shock when we hear someone doing our accents, Im saying this as a canadian who went to a british highschool
Went from a brit to a valley OC girl ..
American accent is purely... ew
can anyone tell me the name of this cornstar?
The British watch so much more American tv shows/movies compared to Americans watching British movies/tv shows that it is a bit easier for them to pick up on it.
American accents are the easiest to do
As an Aussie, these "foreign" accents are all in the same bucket - and I barely noticed anything. The crowd's reaction prompted me to take notice - but without that, Conan being the interviewer, American, British, all of it was a wash, non-local.
Tom Holland is pretty good at switching
Gawd she's gorgeous ❤
i hear no difference...
There are so many different accents in this country it isn’t even funny. Obviously she picked the one portrayed in movies, etc… The second easiest to imitate would be Midwest English, which is crystal clear.
who is this?
Too bad she didn't grow up in Texas!
Besides her and a few others, when it comes down to people trying a general American accent they tend to be somewhat too precise in that the way they speak and the words they use are almost too choppy in conversation where as the way some Americans speak is very relaxed and we incorporate alot of shorterned words and slang and the convo flows easier.
I could hear her Australian accent coming through in Jessica Jones.
I can tell she's faking it, not good.
Who is this? She an actress?
For those of you who say that the American accent is easy, just wait until you try the New York dialect.
Not to be that old-fogie here, but who is this actress? I can’t find her name in the description or comments and I’m wondering if I’ve seen her in anything.
Alice Eve
Big deal, i can do the same in reverse, ill even go aussie and if im drunk enough even sound like im from Liverpool
I thought she was American
Its the same language, it's really not that impressive...i feel
U havent heard Elizabeth Holmes voice change
When I travel, it doesn't take long for me to subconsciously slip into the accent and speech patterns of the company I'm with. In 1998 I was on a scuba dive cruise in Australia with fellow dive tourists from around the globe. All day long I'd been conversing with people from different countries, all speaking English with their own native accents, and I'd found myself just naturally falling into their speech patterns. That evening, after the day's diving was done, we were all gathered together on deck enjoying memories of our day under the night sky, and I found myself surrounded by everyone all at once. With nowhere to hide, my only choice was to revert to my own Canadian accent. I got a lot of weird looks that night.
I don’t think it’s that difficult if you spend time with whichever group of people you’re switching too. I have a traditional English accent but can go very strong Welsh because it was brought up there
Alice had a 2009 crime drama named Crossing Over. Fans of Alice should definitely look that one up.
I have a friend who can change their voice to a British accent flawlessly, so much so that when we met I thought I was losing my mind xd
Well the American accent was born out of Scottish Irish English,so not surprising really
No American can do an Aussie accent.
Who is this person? The video doesn't say.
How to fit screw fitting for rotary washing line
A lot of mental health and insecurity there!
Man I need to learn to do that 💖😂
😂 Conan grabbed his head. Idk why that was so funny to me. I love that dude. Wish he didn’t stop doing late night.
That is because American accents sound natural, that's why it is easy
