I have a 2001 Pathfinder from Nissan and I wouldn't change it for nothing. The problem is that after 226,000 miles it still contains its original parts. Mechanics are amazed. It is perfect for me taking me from my home to New Jersey in all kinds of weather during the night. I love, love my car; I say truck. I got many tickets because that truck moves expecially on the highway. I was warned.

I don't understand why car manufacturers do these type of things. Like how they sold the Acura TSX in Europe as branded as a Honda Accord and with a wagon option while the US had its own version of the Honda Accord.

To quote you at 2:47, the 5.4L only saw life in the Mustang in special models that we're sold in limited numbers and usually supercharged like some of the Shelby GT500s in the 2000s and early 2010's, 90% of the Mustangs on the road from that time though are powered by a 3v version of 4.6L V8.

    • @magmatri-studios

@@drivecore2021 It's really interesting how that entire segment of cars just vanished in a couple years. We went from having the Celica, Tiburon, RSX, Eclipse, Prelude, Ford Puma, and all sorts of cars like that to none now. The BRZ/GR86 is the closest thing and you could say they're better, but they are still missing a couple things like those massive trunks the FWD Sporty Coupes used to have. I actually have a 2008 Tiburon still, we've taken good care of it, and it's a lot of fun to drive. My dad had bought it new back in 2009 for a good bit less than MSRP.

Actually the last two years of the 5.4L 3v (2009/2010) we're fine. Ford fixed most of the 5.4L's issues by those model years and they are generally reliable as well as they responded nicely from a performance standpoint with the 6-Speed vs the 4-Speed used in previous years. But overall I do agree, the 5.0L that came in the 2011+ is a far superior engine in essentially every regard.
