0:25 raiden had a vision!
The fuckin flips😂
Imagine watching this as a young boy in the 80s as I did back then - totally confusion in what is going, yet so interesting to watch.
id never thought men in trench coat and suits fighting with swords in modern times would be so kickass
Cavill will never do the original justice.
Hey isn’t that High Chief Peter Maivia and Lia’s nephew and Ata’s cousin
Rewatched this recently and seeing all the damaged caused from 6:30 on, while I agree Horton is a psycho in the series, I do get it.
imagine going to a Knicks game and you head down to the garage to leave and see a headless dude next to hundreds of destroyed cars
In Fasils centuries old life he clearly spent a long portion of that doing gymnastics that s-t was impressive
They are going to make a remake/reboot of this with Henry Cavill as The Highlander 😂We can confidently say that Hollywood has destroyed every great franchise made, esp. during the 1980s.
I love the flashback scene with the battle
Man, I wonder what the quickening actually felt like, was it euphoric? Painful? A mix of both? I tend to think it's probably like that slightly overhelming feeling when you're short of breath, like when your heart skips a beat but it just persists, and then comes the feeling of nausea and you come down with a cold sweat, then something subsides or it all comes together but your body becomes so tense you can barely think straight as your filled with the thunder of the gods, and millions of volts of electricity surge through your body and empower you.
The parking garage scene was actually filmed in the UK because MSG ceiling was too low.
Filmed in Earls Court Exhibition Centre car park.
Fantastic film. Roman Reigns Dad, in wrestling bit. If ya into that! Bar when he closes his eyes for battle flashbacks. Christopher Lambert doesn't blink for the rest of this. When I went to Paris in '96. Met the TV bods when they did Four Horseman episode.
This was a beautiful, inspiring movie. Kruger / Kurgan was my hero. Ive always wanted to be like him, but never got even close 🤔
Der beste Film aller Zeiten für mich
no parking lot security
I watched the movie for the very first time in the cinema - yesterday! And I'm extremely impressed with Peter Diamonds artistic and sporty abilities!! He was also the stunt ccordinator - and a man in his late 50s when he filmed his scenes here!
For a geriatric old man that Connor MacLeod is fighting he sure does some serious solid backflips. If I could be half that athletic when I hit 65 I'll be ahead of the game.
Was the parking lot just TOTALLY empty? Seems weird! No?
The most 80s thing in this clip are the dingy white sneakers.
Diadora Borg Elites. Quite popular in the 80s.
I can't see sh*t...... Is that racist? XDDD

MacLeod really fucked up stepping on that red Solo cup
This may not have been the greatest fantasy film ever but it sure makes the top 10.
🐐
Not gonna lie, Fasil was much more well dressed. Those shades 😎 rocked!
I gotta this fight was better than with the kurgan. Way better
Best swordfight in movie history
Connor MacLeod is better than anybody especially Duncan
CONNOR MACLEOD WAS GREAT
The All Old Car on The Scene
The Old Movie Adventure
Movie is badass....always was.
Further to my previous comment about Peter Diamond (Fasil), there's another (slightly more obvious) link between Highlander and the original Star Wars trilogy - Bob Anderson. I believe he was an Olympic fencer. He choreographed all the sword fighting in Highlander and was stunt double for David Prowse in Episode 5 and 6 of Star Wars (I think!), doing a lot of the lightsabre fights with Luke Skywalker.
Fasil is played by Peter Diamond, an accomplished English stuntman and stunt coordinator, with connections to the classic Star Wars trilogy. He was stunt coordinator for A New Hope and arranged the sequence where Mark Hamill and Carrie Fisher swing over the chasm in the Death Star. He played various stormtroopers, imperial officers and other characters in all 3 films, the most notable being the Tuskan Raider who attacks Luke with a Gaffi Stick. He's obviously wearing a wig here - I've never seen him with hair!
He also was the only actor in this movie, aside from Lambert, to be in an episode of the TV series too. The Band of Brothers episode if I recall.
The editing is a bit wonky at times (Fasil doing Backflips, walking, then doing backflips again) but in general I like the camera work, very dynamic.
SIlver Borg Elites. Got 2 pairs of those.
I bought myself a pair just because of this film 😂
Better than the golds @@Highlander1518
Pensare che il cognome fasil esiste davvero..
God the cheese!!!!! loved it at the time though..
People are going to be pissed when they get back to their cars.
Star-burns, I mean alex from the community did this better 👏 🤣
minute 4:39 As far as I know the guy spinning around ISNT FASIL but i dont know who is he is he a "Watcher" ? can anybody tell me please 🙃😊😊😊🥰
2:21 sup boys!
where does he put his sword when he backflips?
Seriously, watching Highlander's fight scenes makes me wonder if George Lucas was a fan of this movie and was influenced by it with some of the Jedi techniques between Phantom Menace and Revenge of the Sith. Obi-Wan (Ewan McGregor) even does a similar sword stance to Connor (during The Kurgan fight) during ROTS fighting Grievous (and does it quite a bit in Clone Wars as well).
I may be tripping balls but I know Fasil still had his sword in his hand before he backflipped off of that car. So why in the hell did he have to pick up the sword off of the hood? When did he drop it? Did he even drop it? Did he put it down before he did the unnecessary backflip? So many questions.
Were os his sword when he's back flipping it isn't in his hand. ?
Wot was the reason for the back flipping ? Was it os he would get a clean strike at his neck ?. And were is his sword when he's back flipping it's isn't in her hand.
Little known fact: 67% of all worldwide power outages are the result of immortal quickenings. Most of the rest are raccoon related.
Does anybody think Nash's attired preference was somewhat similar to John Connor when he wore the long beige Mac and Nike trainers from the terminator movie of 1984 . Both belonging in another time . Strange ...
Can’t believe Scott hadn’t seen this
