Vivitar 24mm f/2
zhlédnutí 26Před měsícem
This was a lens test with a Vivitar 24mm f/2 mounted onto a Pixco speed-booster to Fuji X-T3 shooting DCI 4K - All-I - 400mbps. The speed-booster definitely lowers image quality but the lens is one of the softest lenses wide open that I've ever seen. The glow is extreme. The flaring is quite strong and interesting. The lens does sharpen significantly when stopping down.
Nude - Radiohead (cover)

I don't own the rights to the song, it was written by Radiohead. Don't mind the weird pause in the middle, I was mixing and wanted to leave a bigger gap there than from when I was playing so I just slowed the video down lol. Shot on Fuji X-T5 & Minolta 35mm f/1.8 at 2.8 and a GlimmerGlass1 filter.
No Surprises - Radiohead (cover)
zhlédnutí 305Před 2 měsíci
Written by Radiohead, I don't own any rights to the song. This is admittedly sloppy, I was moreso doing this to try out a new lens I got. I filmed it on a Fuji X-T3 with the Minolta MD 24-35mm f/3.5 shooting wide open on the wide end. Also using a Black Pro Mist 1/8 filter. DCI 4K - (ALL-I) - 400mbps - Eterna (DR 400%)
Motion Picture Soundtrack - Radiohead (cover)

Written by Radiohead, I don't own the rights to this song. Felt like covering it, it's a lovely song.
Yes I'm Changing - Tame Impala (cover)

I don't own this song, it was written by Kevin Parker. Sort of a weird attempt at covering this song on acoustic. Was fun at least.

A cover of a Radiohead song. Sorry for the guitar hiss, my house is noisy no matter how much clean power I use for pedals/amp or whatever guitar I use.

Man, what a behind-the-scenes documentary. It’s so fascinating! And seeing the rehearsals, a young Giancarlo Esposito, unbelievable.
George the mom reads him the verse , the guy shelters him well, mom has the beautiful girl visit John, she kisses John knowing he’ll come back with Jesus and love the girl on earth as their fine in the heat and lite of heaven till jesus brings him back with his friend , somewhere in time , I’m not sure how his lady friend died or when , he was fine in heaven with his new body , ill see how and when she died and always believe in your faith and Jesus , the black community does thet the best , they must be gods people just like the Hebrews
A true much missed great interviewer, he certainly met some amazing stars I wonder if they signed a souvenir book for him imagine that it'd be priceless
this is gold.
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Danny Aiello talking to Spike trying to explain Sal could have been in the movie😂😂. True professionals.
Fine thoughts !
It's interesting to consider Kubrick's own evolution as a filmmaker. As a kid he was talented enough to demand respect from his actors. But it seems like he did that without being unreasonably demanding. I wonder how relatively tight productions became slug fests lasting sometimes over an entire year. Kubrick was never profligate in his spending. He wanted control and time - lots of time. I think a part of it was the ever increasing intricacy of his shot composition. Barry Lyndon and The Shining are gorgeous films to look at - albeit for different reasons. Setting up his shots and actually filming them must have been like balancing spinning plates. Without precision it's just not going to work.
DTRT will always be in my top 5 movie of all times. Brooklyn in my heart now and forever. I met Spike he’s a talented brother. Respect ✊🏽
Ossie Davis is my Spirit Animal🙌🏿🔥
Remember watching this in a cinema in Madrid when it came out in 89 Great casting Acting Cinematography. An early roll for Ossie Davis in “ The Hill “ well worth a watch
Thankyou for the recommendation. I've watched this movie half a dozen times and enjoyed his performance but only truly began to appreciate the late great man himself after watching this
And to think we are still here 30+ years later 💔
That looks like it fucking rocks
This is gold. ❤
"Spike Lee Addresses Gentrification Spike Lee’s insight into racial injustice was ahead of its time, but his response to Brooklyn’s biggest problem seems more somber. Brooklyn gentrification is devaluing the borough’s African-American and Black immigrate roots in favor of luxury housing and businesses White people can afford. “It’s bad…and it’s global,” Lee told Nu Origins. “It’s sad, it’s sad.” Lee, who’s known best for his off-the-wall energy and stage presence, was stricken with grief that his beloved Brooklyn isn’t what it used to be." 2019
AMAZING!
2024. Funny how much many parts of Bed Stuy has changed since then. (Sidenote) On the backstory of this docu-behind the scenes, even Howard Beach has changed a LOT as well.
It’s amazing to see the process of the making of this movie some of the actors are not with us anymore n others have become major stars, directors, producers, choreographers, Artist etc. 👍👍👍🔥🔥🔥🙏💜Spike Lee movies gave the world insight into the black experience of the day. Ohh snap look at the big Ad.for Mike Tyson on the side of the building!
This actor is a classic. Timeless. Fine as ever. 🍿
The Cast is ridiculous: JCE, Sam Jackson, Martin Lawrence, John Turturo, Danny Aielo, Sam Nunn. Ruby Dee, Ozzie Davis, Rozie Perez, Robin Harris, come on now !
What a powerful cultural mouvement Spike Lee and his crew facilitated. 30 years before George Floyd, so powerful and influenced a generation of black consciousness. Where is this man’s Oscar !!
Yaul seen what and how to make a movie now you can do it😊
Keep this up. This is relevant, timeless and historic.
Mother sister always watching 😂
Those Muslim brothers aren't messing around.
I’m surprised Spike didn’t put some mafiosi reference in the Italian racist rant…

When she was saying when her mother came there it was gaslight and carriages , I forgot for a second this was filmed in circa 86-87…she was probably in her 50’s…so her moms probably came there when she was a child in the late 1890’s/early 1900’s
Yooo the Melvin Van Peebles movie is what Large Pro sampled for the beginning of "Live at the Barbecue", great flick!
Wow!! I enjoyed this more than the actual movie 🙌🏼🙌🏼

When Radio Raheem was choked by the cops 😮ringing any bells 🔔 to the future of what we witnessed with George Floyd?
Ossie Davis a true legend
I Loved this so much. the details and the happiness of the actors and community is inspiring just what I needed as an up and coming Movie maker. Thanks for sharing. Now I must re watch the movie lol
When you've seen the whole making of video but not the real movie
So Danny Aiello is a racist
Should have been shown in schools when they first released this documentary.
Why did it take so long to shoot though?
I was a kid in Brooklyn around the time spike made that movie. During the making of that movie and fight the power video by public enemy I went to JHS 35 right down the block. Great childhood Times ✊🏾
In The Late '80s to The Early '90s, conscience Hip-Hop was on rotation on the radio, independent black films, independent black comic books, black owned clothing lines, positive black TV shows. To me, it was a magical time.
What the hell happened?
❤
Yes, it was a beautiful time. Glad to have grown up exposed to such black greatness and achievement.
@@jamieberry1813They're selling people controversy, turmoil and ignorance. We have to stop buying. I boycott all ignorant music

I love this. Such a sweet time capsule of this part of Brooklyn.. most of Bed-Stuy is now gentrified beyond recognition. I know it was kind of dangerous back then but it was LIVE
"WORD". Yeah, it damn sure has changed!
This is extremely insightful and very fun to watch. The genius of Spike Lee and this fantastic crew.
damm this shit was good!!
I'm not sure why this was recommended. I hadn't searched for Spike Lee or any of his movies. That said, I'm glad that it was! Took me back , thanks!
