Im new to bookbinding. Im a homeschool mom and i want to incorporate bookbinding this coming year as our handicraft skill of choice. Can you recommend a webshop to get our materials? We will be starting from the basics and working up to more difficult projects as the year progresses. Also do you have a list of everything someone may need to start? I watched one of your beginner CZcams videos, but i think you were sharing bare minimum basics. Id love a good healthy list of everything one could get to do basic to advanced projects. Last question, Im a textile dyer. In Particular I work with natural dyes and linen. Is a heavy linen a good choice for book binding? I cant say Ive seen you work with fabric yet in a video...

I’m making 1 and 2 Samuel into novel format and making it into a softcover book. I want to be able to read it the way it was intended, not like a textbook as that makes it feel like a chore to read. I have seen a lot of people hiding certain details about how to bookbind, only including certain things. You haven’t done that, so thank you.
