Living in Bradford, I see much worse on my daily commute to work.

And all to get them nowhere any quicker. After 35 years driving it’s becoming less enjoyable these days. Every time I go out in the car I know I will see drivers that are either impatient, cutting in front dangerously, speeding, not looking where they are going. Bring back the 1980s.

Undue care and attention is a CD10 conviction code. I got this for undertaking a vehicle at speed on my motorcycle. I received a year ban and £300 fine. However, it doesn't stop there financially. Four years later and my insurance premiums are still three times what I used to pay and this year I almost couldn't get insurance for my new bike at all. Only one company could offer me third party only at a cost of nearly £300 more than I paid for fully comp last year. Insurance has gone mental in the UK recently.

We really could start making our roads a lot safer by getting rid of all those so called modified cars! You don't need a loud exhaust and all of them are driven at speed by idiots. A car should be as it left the factory not anything else, and probably they haven't told their insurance they have added this and that.

Short term bans, 3-6 months. Let them wait in a cold wet bus stop for a while. Its not a given right to have a driving licence, its a privilege. You have a duty of care to other road users. Some people can be very reckless and selfish.

Try driving through Bradford. I drive to the city centre twice a day and see this and worse on a daily basis.

Idiot in the camper not concentrating whats going on in front and had to swerve to avoid colliding with the transit in front. But I agree we need to get tougher with bad motorists. Especially those who are going to lose their licences and plead with the magistrate, "I need to take my little Tommy to school because he's special needs" etc. No ban them if they needed their licences so much they would keep them cleaner than clean.
