An encounter between agroforestry and the Yawanawa ancestral tradition.
The "Ni Eshe Vanay - Seeds of the Forest" project is born from a dream of the Yawanawa leaders Putanny Yawanawa and Nixiwaka Biraci Yawanawa to rebuild the sanctuary of their people, the Yawanawa Sacred Village, located at the headwaters of Gregório River, in the heart of the Brazilian Amazon.
The implementation of agroforestry within the Yawanawa territory is part of a cultural revival dream, that also strengthens local autonomy and creates a powerful dialogue between worlds.

O projeto “Ni Eshe Vanay - Plantando Sementes de Floresta” nasce de um sonho das lideranças Putanny Yawanawa e Nixiwaka Biraci Yawanawa de reconstruir o santuário de origem do seu povo, a Aldeia Sagrada, localizada já na cabeceira do Rio Gregório, no coração da Amazônia brasileira.
A busca pela implementação de agroflorestas no território Yawanawa faz parte de um momento de resgate cultural e fortalecimento da autonomia local, em um potente diálogo entre mundos.
