[SSF 3.24] 4l Eye of Winter mines - T16 map + quest Exarch
As shown in my last video, the early mapping went very well. However, reaching t16s on a 4link was rough, especially in the clear department. The fight vs Exarch shows the single target potential of the skill, but we need much more damage and/or coverage (a 5/6 link, or key uniques like Snakepit and Heatshiver would be big) to farm t16s comfortably.
The plan would be to get these stones done and go back down to high yellow/low red maps to farm upgrades. All in all this is a pretty good league starter IMO.

Disclaimer : I am NOT a racer. This is a good time for me, a better player can definitely get this under 1:20, probably even faster. The poison BV archetype got a few indirect buffs in the form of Blade Blast of Unloading (in 3.23) and the reworked Unholy Might buff in 3.24 which gives us easy access to Wither. Nice, you got tens of thousands of DPS lol. I did a league where I could only use at max a 5 link, fun ideal but horrible experience.

Honestly, I've done at least 2-4 Shadow toons up to at least A7 these past few days and the Blade trap into Ice Trap has undoubtedly felt the smoothest. Might try this depending on patch notes or try a whispering ice toon.

can't remember exactly what i used but probably bbb + ggg + ms boots + cold gems. used poe.re. basically you want 3b for act one then 3g/3g1r for act 2 onwards
@@faederSSF Blade trap so far feels way better than the Rage vortex of berserking I was trying to level as practice.. I know you can also use this to league start like ES Splitting steel.. But what is ice trap good at?

Can't deny that was lucky! :D However, I've done enough run to tell you that blade trap is consistently very strong :)
@@faederSSF u can also go with explosive trap till lvl 12 and switch to blade trap but probably will be 5-10 min longer to finish act 1, it doesnt have the same dmg as rolling magma and firewall (no need to start as templar)

Idk when lvling shadow (miner for example) i play stormblast till 28, sometimes even further as pyroclast is just cringe
that definitely works too, i just prefer blade traps, especially if going to a trap build.

Thanks! Yeah I wish there was a way to make it clear decently fast, it'd make a monster of an endgame build.
Do you level up with poison concoction? Would there be a POB endgame?
I've been trying to figure out how to level painlessly, so far the best I've come up with was CA + Shrapnel ballista, into CA poison + CA ballista poison and going Noxious Strike in the first lab. Damage is decent and it only requires a 4-point respec for BV (Spec hunter's gambit early and unspec it for Serpentine Spellslinger when you swap to BV). The endgame Pob will come once I actually spend time on the build during the league, if I do end up starting this.
*I swapped to bv at the start of act 5 as soon as I got the unleash gem.
I'm probably going to leaguestart as saboteur with armageddon brand triggerbots using automation brand recall and transition over to BBU at merc lab when I can farm the gem. I think that this really did get a massive buff with automation, as previously you couldn't really avoid using a trigger wand and had to forgo obliteration (in HC at least, can't skip the shield). I am also considering potentially doing a hit-based ele version instead of poison due to the large amount of added damage that can be gained from Pyroclast Mine of Sabotage with the Demolition Specialist passive in Sabo (~210% more damage as fire with 2 minefield throws). That might be something more for a bossing setup later though, poison tends to be the faster mapper with Obliteration and Plague Bearer.
That's also a really good option! I just really want to bring the 3.13 poison BV archetype back :p
