I had the same wallpaper at my old house.
Yet another gem from these fine musicians.
Just beautiful!!❤️
Mighty stuff
wonderful!

Bloody Hell.........
Brilliant!
Doesnt get better than this.
I heard this song from a band called the dregs at the renaissance festival in shakopee Minnesota
snatam kaur
Brilliant!
I had never heard John sing before this video! Very nice video. Love the harmonium.
Great craic lads thanks. Manxman
Hup!
I take it this is a Kerry Pro Low D correct?
Bravissimo!
My heart sings...pure pure love. Gosh, what a beautiful tune
Beautiful performance. Thanks.
Lads, 03:50 onwards is pure sex.
Yes, Sir. Well done.
Beautiful, just beautiful, you guys are wonderful musicians! Hope to hear more from both of you.
Excellent, I love that, Talent trio, thanks Irish Fan Deirdre Monica x
Come on Irishmen both young and old With adventure in your soul There are better ways to spend your days Then by working down a hole [chorus] I was tall and true all of 6 foot 2 Til they broke me across my back By a name I'm known that is not my own For they call me Crooked Jack The ganger's blue-eyed boy was I Big Jack could do no wrong And the reason simply was because I could work hard hours and long And I curse the day I went away To work on those hydro dams All our sweat and tears our hopes and fears Bound up with shuttering jams For I've seen men old before their time Their faces worn and gray But I never thought that I myself Would soon be the self same way They say that honest toil is good For the spirit and the soul But believe me boys it's for sweat and blood That they want you down the hole
Can't go wrong with John Doyle behind the wheel. Easily my biggest inspiration!
About as near perfection as is possible! I love this. Thanks so much for making this available.
One of the best recordings with the Irish flute I've ever heard. Simply amazing.
eh bien nous, on l'apprend avec thomas, et ça ne ressemble pas à ça
Holy shit this is just insane. One of the best flute players I've ever heard. Sucks that the view count is so low, Toby deserves way more.
kostaurus he’s right up there with McGoldrick himself. Some player

My family and i were there and we loved Sam kelly and thought his bamd was incredible
We were also there and thought these boys just about shaded being the highlight of a fabulous festival.
Awesome rendition of the close shave!
Well played lads, sounds like one whistle!
Great band, sweet sweet music...
Oh...there he is!
Were they mad at Ian?
It's mighty. Like most of JD stuff, mightier than the studio version.
Nice!
A PERFECT "FIND" FOR ST. PATRICK'S DAY...BRAVO!!!
john doyle is a brilliant man.
As always, it's fabulous! I first heard John do this back in 2004, and it still sends chills up my spine.
bloody hell
Yeh, that bad eh!
flipping brilliant! nice to see it in that old building too..i spent half my teenage years in there, drinking and dancing... and played several gigs with weird bands.. love muireann's jig...
John Doyle is very good, really a good guitar player. I first heard the song when Sara Watkins did it with Nickel Creek about 10 years ago. Her version was also very good. But it doesn't hurt when Chile Thile is standing next to you playing the mandolin.
great version of a Dominic Behan classic, love songs that tell how those that went before us strived to get us where we are today!
Wow - breathtaking playing from both. Superb, thanks Jonathon :)
Have you tried Crooked Jack? See you tomorrow
fantastic set of tunes......fantastic playing by both
I want this to be my wedding dance someday, the place will be bouncing!!!
And now....
@@colinwestwell1621 I’m engaged!
Any chance I could get the sheets for the whistle?
this deserves more likes and views, great material.
