I got the MTX3 V1. Like everyone else my No3 and No4 sections shattered after a few months of use. I am convinced that the carbon got weaker over time. Hence the reason why Matrix beefed up the V2 versions. Lots of anglers were complaining about breakages. I ended up using a short No3 section and I have a No4 section from an MTX2. That was enough to beef it up to have confidence in it.

Brilliant. Thanks for sharing. Very few if any videos cover rig management. I have three sets, deep, shallow and margin but still find it hard with different line strengths and altering each rig during a session so still end up tying new rigs despite. More on this please would be appreciated.

Get the float set ups, I also use rw maggies nearly all the time but carry a lot of other patterns that invariably never get used. It's a problem when you shorten a rig and next time out you need a longer rig. So clear ot is needed. Great tips.
