Sorry for a silly question but you mention to look under the sill covers and take a look behind the wheel arch liners. Would you really ask a provate seller to take these off and have a look? Would they not tell you to do one?? I only ask as perhaps i wouldnt feel comfortable asking someone to take these off to look, and i wouldnt know how to either! I am after a GTV V6 ...

Already have a v6 but have been tempted by a low mileage T spark with low miles which I collect shortly. Agree completely with your comments about the Fiat Coupe, which I also like and which can be cheap. The prices on the gtv seem to be climbing and only the best Fiat Coupes are getting expensive, but on looks alone it seems the Alfa is still too cheap.

looks alright that mate, pretty discrete and not too over the top.

Kit looks good, though I'm not quite sure the car needs it - it looks meaner with it, but sleeker without. The spacers and a bit of lowering is definitely a must. The jacking point covers, I thought the problem was they are made from unobtainium. So if you lose one, you'll never find another.

I fitted a maxton kit to my Alfa 147 gta it was horrible I removed it the following day..your car though do what pleases you we all have different opinions 😊

GTAs a re a modern classic now so personally I would keep it as is, but its your car , so you do what you want with it .

Your car so do what you like, just don't do anything that cant be reversed. Keep all the OEM bits, which are now really hard to find or replace. And make sure you don't damage them when you attach the new kit or if you have to remove anything.

I fixed a wiring snafu in the rear light cluster, then pulled out the speedo and replaced a failed odometer bulb on the dash of my 156 GTA, before changing the oil and filter on my Alfetta GTV.

Bx's tend to settle down rear end first but will eventually sit flat. The big bore exhaust on the black one sounds absolutely awful, and will be coming off directly. It's just on it because the genuine back box was quite quite pickled and I wanted to save it so I can have a stainless copy made
