2023 Ski Season Recap
A fun video covering all of my best *filmed* moments throughout the 2023 southern winter season, created right as I am starting the 2024 winter season. Primary at Thredbo with an event at Perisher in Part 2. Before the start of the season, I couldn’t do a 360 or ride a rail. But by the end, I was able to kinda do a lip on-back 270 and a backflip on a self-built jump. I don’t have video of the former though.
Music used:
Ticket To Ride by The Beatles (taken out mostly due to copyright)
I Go Crazy by Queen
Part 1 with Ticket To Ride is available on my private Instagram, but good luck being able to see it there unless you're a non-online friend of mine ;)

Warner Bros Movie World Offride Footage Uncut
zhlédnutí 362Před dnem
In order to both save some storage space on my phone and to actually upload something after a while, I put together *almost* all of the footage I took on my day at Warner Bros Movie World and put them together into one nearly half-hour long video. Didn’t bother with any sort of continuity or editing out fingers or fixing the suns’s glare. In fact, the first few clips are from the end of the day...
Thredbo Alpine Coaster Construction Update 10
zhlédnutí 114Před měsícem
This is the final Thredbo Alpine Coaster Construction Update. The track work was completed last time, and now the work is on finishing up the station, queue and walkway. Some test riders have reportedly even taken their first test rides. With snow being made at Friday Flat, the Cruiser Area, High Noon and on the Supertrail, Thredbo are gearing up to open their slopes, and The Alipne Coaster, fo...

For a project in my robotics class, I plan to use "We Are The Champions" by Queen as a form of victory music once a player has completed the puzzle. Programed on Tinkercad (compatable with real-life Arduinos and a variation on C# coding language). Composition by Freddie Mercury. By the looks of things, I did not succeed. Fair enough, this is a transcription and there are some occasional wrong n...
Terrain B&M Inverted Coaster NoLimits 2
zhlédnutí 1,8KPřed měsícem
This is a fairly early creation of mine, as it is far from perfect as a result. Inspired by Nemesis at Alton Towers, this ride takes you through six intense inversions and dives through 3 tunnels. The LEGO Roller coaster design video took longer than expected to complete, so I uploaded this in the meantime. And for the first time, there is on-ride sound and no music.
Farewell Thredbo Bobsled (POV with Forces)
zhlédnutí 605Před 2 měsíci
After many decades of service, the Thredbo Bobsled is closing. This video shows some footage taken on that last day with a random photo of one of my friends on the lift a little over a year ago. Included is a POV of the bobsled, with a Combined G-Force reading taken with Ride Forces accompanying it. The Alpine Coaster will open in June, replacing the role of the Bobsled whilst being able to ope...
Thredbo Alpine Coaster Construction Update 9
zhlédnutí 458Před 2 měsíci
This update was filmed on the 26th and 28th of April. The track is essentially complete, the station is well underway, the lift cable is on and most excitingly, the sleds themselves are now on site. Testing could start as soon as next week. This time is also sad due to the 28th being the final operating day of the Bobsled.

This time, much more progress has been made. Track and supports are in the car park, the cable bull wheel shed up the top has its frame in place, and the final spiral and turn over Home Run are built, and look great!
Western Wilderness: A NoLimits 2 Park (Early Design, Far From Best)
zhlédnutí 206Před 5 měsíci
This is one of my earliest NoLimits 2 parks, containing 3 roller coasters. The first one is (supposed to be) a CCI terrain wooden coaster, the second one is an Arrow 5 inversion coaster, and the third one is a Premeir Rides LIM launched shuttle coaster. All 3 rides have problems, especially the wooden coaster, so keep that in mind when watching that the creator does not view this work highly.

LEGO Roller Coasters in NoLimits 2
zhlédnutí 8KPřed 5 měsíci
Ever wondered what it would be like to ride the LEGO roller coaster in real life? Watch to see what it would be like if they were scaled up to real life size. The scale used is 3 studs = 1 meter, or 1:41.6666667. The only size inaccuracy is the size of a few pieces to fit a transfer table or full train in (the in game cars are longer than the LEGO equivalent) and the third coaster being slightl...

The Best (and worst) Of RCDB Random Roller Coaster
Cool
it is way too fast after the loop over the lifthill
I keep coming back to this coaster, plenty of “world’s tallest” coaster creations on CZcams but this seems like something some crazy park might actually build in the future, unlike the Falcon’s Flight coaster which is just larger than life
You can make Lego bricks with custom supports a its mind numbing process but you can make anything with them. I made a whole matainace shop with custom track and a invisible section going through it and made a pallet with and a car sitting on it with another invisible segment
2 words: CDX Blocks
(Hopefully not this) lol
was it still operating during the building of the new coaster?
Legend mate ☺️👏👏👏
We need a fix about that the train will be flipped 180 degrees every time it does a cycle. We need to make control surfaces as lift chain dogs and brake fins and stuff work in both ways somehow
Maybe you could print your own cart that has a zero-car so the front wheels can bank independently from the back ones? I think that would solve a lot of issues already!
Designing better trains is something I would like to do in the future, with a front axle, upstop and side friction wheels, retractable chain dog and possibly a brake fin. This would be very hard and is currently beyond not only my physical recourses, but my time resources as school is taking a gigantic amount out of me.
Looks super smooth! I'm working on a piece that turns and banks at the same time, and my current method for creating it has me using about 90 small cylinders to create the turn, which gives it a slightly rough surface. How did you manage to make these pieces so smooth in tinkercad?
I used a “Spring” shape in order to create a spiral that I stretched out to the necessary length, with the tube thickness being set in the shape settings. The result isn’t a perfect smooth rail, but something that will function. The spine was mainly so that I don’t have to configure a side plate that the current LEGO rails (4 stud being the exception) have.
Awesome work!
This is awesome but please make yourself a favor and use Fusion 360 or Onshape. You can make parametric CAD models quicker and better than you could ever do a noraml one in Tinkercad.
or take tinkerCAD as a challenge
Pretty accurate other than the track going into water for some reason
this is crazy good, mine aren't half this quality (Leviathan productions is my account -> this is my alt)
For this you would need s turntable
Or, whether the train faces forwards or backwards to start changes every cycle.
@@SuperfieldCrUnThat would be really stupid but practical so aight
Awesome
If you want the transition pieces into the banked turn, you can either check out my untested prototype or Xantron7 Coasters, who has been using a longer version for much more daring elements.
These are amazing! Definitely subscribing!
Ok few things about this, 1 I feel like the GCI would’ve valleyed on a few of the hills, 2 the arrow transitions are way, WAY too snappy for arrow, if you look at coasters like the original steel phantom, the drop was constantly banking on the way down. Arrow transitions were very gradual. And i think the ZGR on the premier might be just a bit too fast. That’s all. Nice tho
I can understand. This was one of my very early creations, so I would have changed a lot about this, and thanks for the tips.
Looks accurate!😄
These are awesome! Thanks for sharinh
Please make a corkscrew and an evened out piece for the bank turn! Thank you so much!
For me, that heartline roll wasn't the fact that it felt like murder, but it felt like it ruined the suspense of disbelief. That steep dive before the heartline roll absolutely made my jaw drop because of how different, crazy, and exciting it looked. It honestly felt like it was something possible in the real world. But that roll kind of made me switch emotions since it felt out of place compared to the rest of an otherwise very impressive ride! Oh, and simulation data must be off somewhere, because 1.1 lateral Gs, on two heartline rolls over 130 mph? I have a hard time believing that. By comparison, the fastest inversion in any roller coaster right now is Maxx Force at a 60 mph zero-g roll.
I highly doubt the simulation data is "off". Calculating max g's on a heartline roll is very simple and uses basic dimensions/stats that would be really hard for a computer to get wrong (length of the roll, speed of the train, distance from heartline to extremities). You could even approximate the g's by hand in 5 minutes if you know these values. The g-force experienced on a heartline roll depends on the *time* spend in the roll, not the absolute speed at which the coaster takes the roll.
Would be great if you could create a 45 degree corner piece rather than just have 90 degree turns.
Where do you get the solid red flexible track from? Or is it something you printed?
I wanna s-bend to make beyond-vertical drops
Cool
Beautiful video thanks for sharing 😊"
DO A CORKSCREW!!!! THIS IS AMAZING
That heartline role would turn any rider into a fine red mist.😬
This is just painful being honest
That one twist at the end after that one drop where the train races through... it literally would break your neck instantly
You forgot the nauseating gs after the mid break run
Holy shit that upside down trim brake is crazy. That’d really make the element for me
0:59 man i love experiencing 9 G's on a coaster
Wonderful!
The One Roller Coaster I Don’t Think I Would Ride! 😅
That roll at 3:15 💀💀
An element that would not even be allowed. Its neckbreaking
Seems doable.... lol
Awesome! you should give Fusion 360 a try tho :P
Can you make a gerstlaur infinity exa coaster? (Idk if that exist.) I want it the be higher than pacifica. Even though it would be thrilling if you would make it! And you should add the gerstlaur infinity exa coaster a 430ft high dive loop for that (only no limits 2)
It does exist so he technically could
so can you make it if it exist?
@@jayceofhearts1043 me personally? Idk if you could make it that tall as I believe there is a height limit but yeah it’s definitely possible
It would be interesting to try and design different trains too if you can, with proper bogies and and maybe even upstop wheels if possible, so that the train can take the transitions into banked parts better. Would be lovely to make them five stud wide so that you could fit two figs per car. But that would be very complicated. Anyway, great work, keep it up !
I really would like to design new LEGO compatible roller coaster trains with the features you mentioned, plus a ratcheting chain dog to make engaging the lift easier. If I can find even just the specifications on how the road wheels are attached, I can start working from there. Thanks!
Damn, super cool!
I want to try and design some new Lego roller coaster track but I don't have 3D printer to make and test the track with.
niiice
Due this is awesome! How do you model the tracks to be smooth (for curves)?
THIS IS WAY TOO ACCURATE
Any idea of the throughput ??
Figured 115 seconds between trains (launch to in the hols block). 3600/115=31.3, round down to 31 dispatches per hour, 31*20=620 riders per hour. Not great but you wouldn’t want a mid course in the middle of this thing
Could have a dual station though
@@Sauci55on Unfortunately, that would not do much. That 115 second cycle time is based off of the ride time, not the boarding time. A dual station may make things more efficient by allowing up to 3.5 minutes per train, but you can’t put 2 trains in the same block
