This used to be a Dover, then modded in the 90's by general. Modded again by otis in 2011. Then it was pointlessly modded yet again by otis in 2017.

What Disney did to that pavilion is absolutely tragic.

UPDATE: Today, Jun 1st 2024, Was this elevator's final day of operation. According to the Central Florida Tourism Oversight District (CFTOD) permit records, this elevator is receiving a full mod or replacement from OTIS. New fixtures, motor, controller, doors etc. This Dover has survived the 1999 ruining of the imagination pavilion and the DVC lounge addition in 2016. In 1999, it received only a slap on GAL Jet PLUS mod from General. Other than that, the elevator has been original and running strong since 1983. RIP 1983 General/Dover. Let's hope the OTIS mod will be at least somewhat decent but it probably won't be. I put “Final Ride” in the title as I think I’m the final person to film it. Someone correct me if I’m wrong!

Those fixtures have no confirmed names so far, and Series 3 was never used on European OTIS Gen2 and other models. Strange how these elevators have a mix of Asian OTIS landing panels, European car operating panel and Newer Series 2 floor indicator inside.

These elevators were really slow when I went (January 2024)

This isn't a Montgomery Kone this used to be a Montgomery G&P but it got modded with Innovation Universal fixtures!

I hate it when there is trash and graffiti in elevators it happened the same thing in one of the elevators at my school!

This elevator was broken for months and when I was in it, it dropped hard when going down!

They need to program those NACs for System Sensor sync. Or, if that can't be done, they need to install some sync modules.

Looks like a complete replacement to me. Kind of disappointment considering the previous Schindler weren't old enough.

Couldn't film these ones as a staff scolded me before I could enter, so instead I could only film the European Gen2 in the lobby. Btw these are Chinese OTIS made by OTIS Electric Elevator (formerly Xizi Otis) in Hangzhou, China.

IIRC the actual name of this building is Plaza Oroubo.

Never been on a Schindler marine elevator before. I've ridden KONE marine elevators countless times before (since I work on a ship) and they run almost the same like the regular ones you would find at land. And most importantly is that they're far more robust and durable.
