Break the B17 in using a method I have used for all 5 of my B-17s: Install the seat and invert the bike into a bucket of warm water 4.25 gallons to 4 oz glycerin for 15 minutes before riding. Brush neatsfoot oil on top and bottom of the seat after the ride. Do this for 3 decently long rides and then just oil occasionally. This saddle is now supple and fits your pelvic structure. My seat is never a concern.
