Absolutely gorgeous! I had the QRX-7500 in pristine working condition, along with all of the manufacturers paperwork & brochures. I really wish that I had held onto it, but wanted more power and went for separate preamplifier and amplifier set. You and your father do beautiful work 👍🥲

I have lots of Big Beautiful caps. Jamesco says they are NOS only thing I can say is my meters aren't impressed with their looks though.

My experience is that new caps out of the pack measure about 10% low.... and old ones that are leaking measure 30% over or more. I've got the Old school leak tester, and ESR tester, as well as an LCR... so I hope I can be considered as somewhat experienced.

is the radio beautiful?

I've had this same unit since 1980. In the 80s-early 90s I used to tape music off the radio. By the late 80s, I stuck with Maxell UD II tapes, kept them in the house and they still play like new. In the past year, I took an 1/8" pin jack to 2 RCA jacks, plugged it in the audio output of my desk top and the other end to the input of the tape deck. I bought up a bunch of Maxell/Memorex blank tapes in the late 90s at a discount "just in case". I recorded a bunch of mid 50s-early 60s rock/rockabilly/ doo wop off youtube and It's amazing how well the sound is played back on this deck through a same era JVC receiver or in my 1996 CHevy truck or 1986 Olds cutlass. If the song I record is from a clean 45, I swear I can hear sounds on this analog tape that I don't hear on a CD. Or it's just nostalgia making me think it sounds better! Amazing how this "made in Japan" unit still records and plays this good 44 years later.

ANRS was Automatic Noise Reduction System and Super ANRS was an improvement on that and it was better than Dolby C or Dolby S. I still use it and all of my old tapes were recorded with it.

Actually it is a 3-head deck because it has the X-Cut SA head for recording. I used to have the brother KD-A77 and it lasted until I purchased a JV.C DD-7.

I like this song, my dad bought the 4 track 7" EP back when he used the HMV Rhapsody radio-gram, I have these till this day, when CD came about I put all the old 45's out for yard sale, Verdelle Smith Tar and Cement EP and Slim Dusty Trumby EP sold, I regreted that years later, rebuying them cost me $30 vs the 50c a piece when I sold them
