New Research to Enhance Climate-resilience of Locally Managed Marine Areas in Kenya
zhlédnutí 207Před 8 měsíci
Nearshore habitats off Kenya including coral reefs, seagrass, and mangroves, are under threat from the pressures of overfishing and climate change. To foster local stewardship of these areas the Kenyan government works with communities to help them make decisions on fisheries management and habitat protection. In this context, communities can establish locally managed marine areas (LMMAs) to im...

hello fellow students
The music is too loud, which makes the narration difficult to hear.
Our place that feeds into the Bay is now dead. Used to be so full of life. Now it's just a dark muck. So sad. The Otters left, no more crabs, fish, or shrimp. It's just dead.
Not quite that bad, but I share your distress.
So sad
Oxygenate the water
