I still don't understand how Danmark won. The song was not so bad, but there were better. And those guys singing like during Brazilian depilation or at least balls hair removal.

One of the worst esc. Ugly stage, ugly songs. Ugly winner song. Only year before winning song was worse.

Impossible to understand how Finland's very catchy entry with a very professional singer finished so low, especially in this sea of mediocrity. Robbed (once again)!!

This is a year where I did NOT expect denmark to end up any where near the top, and we were 2 nd place! That was such a surprice to me!

As a Dane this was first time i heard of Brdr. Olsen, maybe because they are considered (dansk top musik) Old people Music.

Fun fact Finlands song was not picked by the people, but by the judges. Such morons.

Year 2000 was the year I found Eurovision. I was 11 years old and my parents recorded it on video. I still know snipets of al these songs, and I play “Don’t play that song again” and “My star” for my kid. What a YEAR it was.
