I appreciate the effort but I have to say I dont think its good to turn the Slavery Myths on Northerners or use the SAME TACTICS they use against us. I say this because what happens is everyone falls together. I think the better approach is pointing out the FACT that Slavery is not a race based institution & never has been. The Propaganda the Union created has had a terrible effect on the South but also America. It's as if these History Writers after the War cared nothing of the consequences of such Evil presentation of half the country. Also these Conservative Inc. figures like Mark Levin aren't helping with trying to portray the Southern Democrats as the "Real Racist". All this anti-American mud slinging just hurts all our causes. I'm not sure at this point American or the Confederate Honor can be saved. Everything's pointing to another Concession in the future.

Yeah... Look up vice-president Alexander Stephens' cornerstone speech... or the Articles of Secession from a host of Southern States... Or, in fact, the Confederate Constitution itself. Beyond that, look at the Black Codes, the Jim Crow Laws, the Dixiecrats and Segregation. It is, frankly, baffling and somewhat perverse how in these last few decades an effort is made to portray the Confederacy, of all nations, as this colorblind utopia of racial tolerance.

What they did in the South is pretty much the same as most of their later wars: start a war, blame it on something that the local people could have worked out, make a worse mess than before, and use it all as evidence that they did the right thing. They wanted to control the whole world then, and they want to now. And like then, their power-mad, money-hungry ways will destroy everything. Those Blacks were relegated to perform the menial tasks such as build latrines, dig trenches, manage the laundry, postal work, cooking etc. The Confederate generals thought to formally enlist Blacks but felt indifferent towards arming them. There were isolated incidents were Generals, who were plantation owners armed entrusted slaves, and offered them freedom to fight the Union army. A group of (Creole), biracial men from New Orleans volunteered to support the Confederacy. But by the time they were prepared to fight the state of Louisiana had been commandeered by the Union Army. God these city administrators are awful...no wonder citizenship rights are so much on their poison tongues. They want all the privileges of citizenship without the duties, including the understanding of nuance and history, that it also demands.

Before and throughout the entire Civil War slaves, who were owned by Ulysses S. Grant’s wife Julia Dent, worked at Ulysses S. Grant’s White Haven home in Missouri, a Union slave state. I am against slavery. If the Civil War was started over the issue of slavery, why did President Lincoln choose Ulysses S. Grant to be his top general? Captain David Camden De Leon, a Jewish physician, was the first surgeon general of the Confederate States of America. I therefore find it strange that the CSA flag has become associated with that red flag with the black swastika in the middle. In 1862 General Grant issued Order No. 11 which ordered the expulsion of Jews living in Kentucky, Tennessee, and Missouri. As far as I know, General Robert E. Lee never ordered the expulsion of Jews living within the Confederacy and General Robert E. Lee’s slaves were freed in 1862. I do not know why some people associate statues of General Lee and the Confederate flag with antisemitism. Many Confederate soldiers were Jewish. I never hear about people protesting the presence of statues of General Grant because of his antisemitic Grant Order No. 11. A number of times in the past I have voted for African-American candidates at various Duval County Florida polling/voting sites. If I am/was a racist, why would I find myself voting for African-Americans? I am not a racist.
