Great video! I'm curious if the pants are lined on the inside. If not, then do you have the wax coating on the inside of the fabric (as well as the outside) against your skin?
Great show ...have to agree with Max's take on Xander's success. When X opened up with his 'personal' life, it was the time I really got interested in his work/videos. His personality/character are a draw along with excellent outdoor adventures.
I agree... he is also a great guy.
Where exactly is this? What lake please.
Wickesteed Lake
I feel another ideal guest suluk46, not much fanfare, but solid in his quest for adventure
Great Guest Idea. In Fact Steve from Suluk46 was a guest on the show back in December... here is the link if you wish to check it out... czcams.com/users/livezYne_egt3fQ
@@CanoehoundAdventures sorry, must have missed that episode. I'll check it out. Thank you
Try a bear banger?
great idea if I had one but I was not too concerned.
Why the media didn't want to cover the cross Canada story is we are turning communist and Canadians need to wake up. Veterans, kids and natives need our help. We need to pressure our government to do more. Trudeau has to go.
amen!
Missed this one love but caught up while driving back from Temagami. Thanks for the great year Dennis I can’t wait for the next ones.
Thank you Evan
Great season Dennis!!!!
Thanks you Kristin
Congrats on a fantastic season!! I really appreciate all the work you put into this great show. I'm well aware that the time it takes to do the actual show itself is just the tip of the iceberg that sticks out above the water, and all that pre-production, planning and wrangling guests is the majority of the iceberg below water that nobody sees. Not to mention the wonderful community you've created with this show. It's always a fun episode when you have your "Ed McMahon" on with you, I really hope you do a trip video with Kevin someday, I'd pay good money to watch that!! Have an awesome summer Dennis!
Thanks Richard. Glad to hear you have been enjoying the show. Kevin and I are hoping to get together on a weekender.... a video of that...oh yea!!!
Congratulations 👏👍👌
Thanks a lot Karts
Thank You Dennis congratulations on season 5 my friend and we miss STY NORTH.
Thanks Tim.yes Sty is missed by all that knew him
Sorry I had to miss the season 5 finale.. planning this weekend's Scouting camp with the cubs... Watching it afterwards though. Giving it the thumbs up.
Thanks Gary. Hope you have a great summer. Maybe see you out there somewhere
🖐😎👍🛶
Thank you Canajian
Very nice! Thanks for the tour and congratulations on a beautiful canoe
Thanks for watching!
It’s a silly regulation if you take appropriate precautions. Vacuum sealed food is odorless, keep your trash separate from your food. Instead of just issuing an order, i would have liked to have been shown that there are increased incidences of bear problems. Kevin is complete right though, if you ban people from having fires, then forest fires will only be started by criminals. Now say it for bear problems.
Pretty much... they could have approached this much differently
Kevin Callans position is reasonable and well thought out. CJ’s not so much, he comes across as a NIMBLY, crotchety old man. Just because you have a ton of experience (and Cliff is truly a legend), doesn’t mean he is right when it comes to managing a wilderness like the BWCAW.
But he has a ton of experience and use full knowledge
Oh the ads are killing me
Compliments of CZcams... skip them if you are able

As many of you know I do not endorse products that I do not use or that I am not confident in. Agawa Gear produces high quality gear that is well worth the money. If you are interested in purchasing anything from Agawa Gear. Here is the Link amzn.to/4a0DLB3. Thanks Brad and Graham from Agawa Gear for sharing so much info during this show.
Great show, these are such brilliant products! You always have such questions lined up, so it always makes for a really interesting show.
Glad you enjoyed it!

@@CanoehoundAdventures thats what Jim screams whenever he catches a fish or something cool happens lol. Love it
What size & brand of double paddle are you using. I’m alway slopping water in my canoe
Werner is the brand and i believe it is a 220 length... I still get drips in my canoe though but not a lot.
Thanks so much. I really enjoy your program. I’m 70, second year of canoeing in Alberta. Venturing into Saskatchewan this year
I've seen many of Eze's videos. I am in awe of how much he learned and the skills he developed in such a short time. I'll look up Paul. But Eze really lifts my spirits..... and causes me to laugh. If nothing else, he's become a cult hero, but there is a lot more. Thanks for getting these guys on your channel. I assume this was before Eze's Chile trip. That's amazing.
Eze was a great guest and would be welcome back to the show at any time.

Excellent episode. Total respect for Jim.
Indeed... Respect
Special Thanks to Jim Baird for such an awesome interview... some of your stories are amazing man. Cant wait to tip a few brews with ya.
No problem Denis, it was a lot of fun doing your show as usual!
Jim Baird is the new OG! Thank you Dennis for bringing all these great paddlers to your viewers/listeners.
Our pleasure!... Jim is the real deal for sure!!!
Nice job on the tour... very nice job on picking that canoe. I found my Nova Craft in 2021 and enjoy everything about it. Be safe out there :)
Thanks, you too!
Outstanding editing 🎉lovely
Many many thanks
Just discovered this. Your lives are so interesting.
Thanks for watching
Thanks for watching Pam.
Mitch said that they descended the Voyageur Channel, and I wonder why. Or if they knew that it was neither the best or correct choice. The name is not indicative of its use. Toni Harting argued that the cargo teams used the main channel, and that express canoes used the Old Voyageur Channel.
I guess that was his call.
It would be interesting to find out how well Mitch thinks this video will do on CZcams, vs. after it has been released, for a format with as he says; no music and no narration for 3 hours. Slow TV does not seem to be very successful on CZcams. People are expecting something else.
Time will tell. I know i watch them through, sometimes in 1 or 2 takes.
Josh here from PortagePal - can't wait for a lucky viewer to get their hands on a PortagePal! Good luck everyone!
I am sure the winner will love it
Just finding this video now. Me and my good pal were doing a trip into Noganosh and we encountered you and your group on that site, must have been morning on your Day 2. I do remember you expressing your enjoyment during that trip! I really enjoy seeing videos of other people loving and camping in that area of the province!
Glad you finally found the video and I hope your Noganosh trip went well.
Great show, Dennis! Tosh Self Propelled sure is an interesting interview.
Thanks Raven
Wow that was a great tour. I love my Rx Nova Craft Prospector. I appreciate the company even more now.

This is one of your better shows!! Tosh is amazing!!
Yes Tosh is a great Guy. Thanks for watching
How did I miss this? 🤷♂️ The trouble with James is, you can’t tell when he’s being serious and when he’s NOT! 😂
He sure is a character. I love his Wild Homestead videos.
Thanks for sharing about 'TRIPPING The Series'. I look forward to the French River episode, and next week's show!
Can't wait!

I think so ;-)
Great show! Nothing gets me more stoked for the upcoming season now than the traditional Spring Trip Planning episode here, even more so than hearing the food dehydrator humming away in the house!
Same here!
LOVE IT
Thank you. They are both great guys

Hello👋
Great panel, I really enjoyed the discussion.
Thanks for watching RX
Great show :) I agree, I love the Yukon !
Right on! Thanks for watching
Excellent show Dennis.... if I don't say so myself.
Thanks Karts... so glad you joined us 🙂
I encourage everyone to pay very close attention to what Kevin and the others say in this episode. Tremendous insight and wisdom.
Well thank you. we all want everyone to enjoy the backcountry in the spring but we also want them to be safe out there
3 year milestone shoutout to me, thanks! Can't always catch it live but I'm here for the replay. Looking forward to some spring trips.
Thanks for your support Jay... Hope you do get some trips in and some content out
Great commentary, haven't been on a spring trip in a long time but this might be the year. Shoulder season hot tenting does seem to match up better in the fall as noted, but my rig is 14lbs and can be single carried so I do hope to use it on a spring trip if the forecast warrants. There's even lighter kit available on amazon these days, no need to let weight stop anyone from hot tenting.
You got that right!
