I thought carnival morris was extinct in the streets! So glad to discover I was wrong.
Lovely dancing! Great to see young dancers so light on their feet without sacrificing vigour - too many (of both sexes) here in England think they have to dance heavy-footed to look tough.

It should do. It's a very early form of Fluffy in its transition stage before adjudicators 'got hold of it' and hammered it into the form it is now.
Ian McKinnon only just seen your reply, I find it amazing to watch! I've always been interested in the history of fluffy Morris even though I've only been dancing since around 2002. Can't help but cringe at toes not pointed but I guess that's just force of habit!

Hi Jonathan, We had a great day dancing in Sherborne (the usual Sherborne Morrismen's Whit Monday) and I'm very glad we had a trip over to Bampton in the evening. It was a pleasure as always to see Bampton dancing. Thanks for inviting us to join you and have a dance or two it was a perfect way to round off the day!
Also thanks to the video man. That was a surprise to see it!
