Why does he need to have an orchard at this stage of his life? Is that his primary source of income? Why doesn't he lease it out to an independent grower? Why doesn't he cut someone in for a percentage in exchange for upkeep of the orchard? Why doesn't he sell off part of that 52 acres and just keep his house and a few acres? Isn't that property paid off or mostly paid off by now?
