I had preeclampsia with both of my pregnancies but luckily I also had the most amazing doctors and nurses now they found out taking 1 80mg child aspirin a day can avoid you suffering from preeclampsia and eclampsia.

A second opinion is invaluable, doctors not taking the time to do thorough evaluations can be very detrimental to the health of patients. My own story is when I told my doctor that my first menstrual cycle flow was significantly heavier than it had ever been (I was using super heavy flow pads throughout my cycle, change a fully soaked pad ever two hours. My doctor simply said that my body had changed post pregency and I just needed to adapt. In the end I became severely anemic and required iron infusion therapy

Yeah this is why im never getting pregnant. You can go from healthy to very sick in a few weeks.

Meth would leave her covered in scabs as if she’d had the worst case ever of chicken pox. I knew from the 1st time I saw her pics it was t meth! I have a friend who’s a meth addict. She went to jail for a year & a half. I picked her up from jail. She’d gained 100 lbs and her skin was cleared up! I cried I was so happy for her. It’s been 6 months. She’s back to being drastically under weight and the scabs are back. She’s not done H again (cost) but smokes meth all day & night. Stay away from soap in the eye.. no baby shampoo. Hot compress on the eye, clean and exfoliate your skin. Throw away your contaminated mascara, wash your pillows.. disinfectant around the eyes. Popping is normal because the bacteria gathers like a pimple and pops. Redness is inflammation.. witch hazel helps.

I had an issue with breathing and my first doctor said i have tonsillitis which i did but it wasnt serious and did not fix my issue, the main issue i really had after getting a second doctors opinion was that i had developed asthma which was alot easier than having to deal with than having surgery to remove my tonsils with my first doctor's opinion.

Why does she need an outfit change? Ask yourself why youre doing things. If your baby spits up a lot and the house is warm a diaper and bib is fine, or just a little T Shirt. Keep them upright after feeding for half an hour, always have a bib on them and just dont worry about what they are wearing at home while theyre so little. LOWER your expectations of yourself. Its enough that they have a clean diaper, full tum, lots of cuddles and sleep. Get rid of anything you are doing that isnt directly impacting on your babies well being. No, she doesnt need a headband with a bow on her bald head, he doesnt need to be wearing a coordinated outfit to sit in his stroller while you go get some groceries. No he wont die if youre too exhausted for bath time and just give him a quick top n tail wash, no he doesnt need shoes on when youre just picking up a prescription, he cant even walk yet. Seriously, anything unnecessary shouldnt be done. Dont make more work for yourself.

From having to deal with many health issues, the only thing that I’ve learned is that if you feel like there’s something wrong with you, you need to go to as many doctors as possible till you find the one that will really care to look into it and not just say that you need to lose weight, you need to give birth, don’t be dramatic, it’s fine 😑

These comments confirm my own experiences and thoughts I have had for 10 years- our healthcare system needs DRASTIC IMPROVEMENT. It’s not going to change without the people suffering the consequences doing something about it. It’s up to US to DEMAND change for ourselves. I’m not being dramatic. This is life and death for many of us, or years of suffering. History shows us the people have all the power, we just have to act. When is enough enough? How much longer are we going to accept this nonsense? I’m genuinely looking for an answer because I’m waiting on the rest of society to reach their breaking point and be willing to do something about this.

The amount of doctors and nurses that brush you off without even bothering to run tests is shocking. I went in for an ear ache and my doctor didn’t even look in my ears, she just wrote me a script. Turns out I have a massive lump on my thyroid that I need checked. I had been complaining of throat pain, ear aches, headaches etc for MONTHS. I finally talked to a friend that is a DR and she’s the one who told me it was an emergency to have it examined. My boyfriend almost died at 26 and was told he “just had a belly ache” and that it was from constipation. Turns out he had Ulcerative Colitis and only found out when he was rushed to the hospital by friends because he was laying in bed unresponsive. He had just been to the ER 3 days prior and was sent home too. He had been turned away from his doctor and the ER MULTIPLE times with these symptoms; violently vomiting nonstop for weeks, large amounts of blood in his stool, unable to go to the bathroom in over a 4 week period, when he did have a BM he would pass out from the pain, 101 daily fever, a few other “minor” ones. After he was admitted they asked why he didn’t come in sooner 🤦‍♀️ and told him had he stayed home he would’ve gone septic- which meant he would have died. Then a year after he was diagnosed he was mocked by a nurse for being “dramatic” as he went to the bathroom and she told him he couldn’t have UC because he had constipation and you can only have diarrhea 🤦‍♀️ which isn’t true. After she saw his bm she didn’t say anything. It was literally as hard as a rock, you could hear how hard it was when it landed in the bucket, and he described pushing it out like he was sh*tting out knives. The incompetence of healthcare workers at all levels is beyond appalling and unacceptable. 90% are extremely unprofessional and engage in gossiping, lack compassion, lazy, and woefully inept. The misinformation from one to another is wild too. I was recently in the ER for severe stomach pains, and I have a high pain tolerance. I was sent home with “a bellyache” also. Went back the next night and was admitted for a severe kidney infection. No one ran tests on me the first day. I was told I “looked fine” and I’m young, so. Smh I could go on and on with horrible experiences with doctors but I won’t. I literally don’t trust them to save my life and they’re the only people I can go to for that. It’s sad. I now have to get the lump in my throat checked and I’m terrified I’m going to get someone who doesn’t belong in this field and not get the quality of care I deserve- all people deserve- and they’ll miss something important. Don’t get me wrong, I have had AMAZING doctors that genuinely care and go above and beyond, but it’s rare. When you live with a chronic illness and your experiences are more frequent and life or death, you realize how truly horrific our healthcare is. SO much in this country needs to change, I can’t think of one thing that doesn’t need to be replaced. But healthcare is a priority and desperate for a full blown makeover. Doctors refusing to provide care because you don’t have insurance is insane and should never be allowed. People not going to the doctor when they’re sick because they can’t afford the medical bill should never happen. I’ll stop now cause I’ve made my point BUT people need to demand progress in this country. We deserve so much better than what we put up with. We have all the power to make changes, history shows us that. We just have to act. 💕

I was busy one day, had to drop my son off at highschool. I called my younger son and asked him to fill up the bath for me. I said, "just put it on the hottest it can be and leave it there until its filled". I didnt realize people dont do this until he responded with "psycho". 😂 I do have raynauds and my hands and feet are always cold. Something changed a few months ago and now I need it colder. Perhaps in going into menopause (37). 😢
