Yes! I'm so glad you liked it. Fantastic cast, script, and like you said, for this to be Zoe's directorial debut, wow. She knocked it out of the park, I'm definitely interested in what she does next. I loved it, it's one of my top favs of the year so far.

I think I 100 percent agree! It's very weird, I don't think it all works, but I was always very interested in what was going on and Hunter and Dan were great. I just got out of Blink Twice, so I'm definitely looking forward to your review! My friend and I had VERY different thoughts.

While I love the original Alien, Big Chap. I personally find it being found to be incredibly silly and over the top. As you know from the forums, I tend to be a bit too logic minded when it comes to the plausibility XD. The chances of finding a small dark object in the vastness of space is just stupid, and not to mention it was no where near the Nostromo wreckage when it was expelled from the shuttle. (which is where its found in Romulus) Big Chap being alive makes it even worse too as it apparently can survive over 15 years without air or food, which makes it borderline supernatural instead of being a living alien organism. The franchise is supposed to be science-fiction, not fantasy genre. Big Chap's survival actually undermines the accomplishments of Ellen Ripley as well. All that effort to expel it and incinerate it the shuttles thrusters and she apparently didn't kill the Alien.... Worse is that it means she didn't kill the Queen either. A badass fight with a power loader, a tense escape from the air lock, only for Romulus to say it didn't do anything because they could still be found alive.... Its strange but the sequels seem to really like undermining Ripley's efforts. Alien 3 undid her effort of saving Newt, Alien resurrection undid her sacrifice to prevent an organization to get Aliens. Heck even the crossover AVP prequels (granted they not canon) had the Aliens on earth all along. So much for trying to keep them from being brought back to earth or any place they could spread. Ideally Romulus should have had the intro either with the W-Y (or another company) ship going to a different planetoid that also had a signal or cache of eggs, or simply remove the intro all together and just leave how they got the aliens left as a mystery or simply explained mid-way through. The callbacks were unnecessary for sure. The 4th act needed a Xenomorph, not a hybrid. At least that is how I feel. Great video though, keep it up :)

I really think that if they did not do the "Stay away from her, you bitch" line, this movie would have been close to a masterpiece. That one line really took me out of the immersive world I was in and made me remember, yeah, this is just another Alien movie.

Good review. I agree that the rook thing was not good. It should have been a completely new character. The cgi did not work and it kind of undermines how Ash was supposed to be a spy, his model appearance shouldn't be common. I don't think they would be able to have an actor with prosthetics to look like Ian Holm, there is a law about it due to hollywood doing this to actor in back to the future. I enjoyed this movie but I am not a fan of prequel references, especially black goo which is just a magic mcguffin. The aliens could have used more presence as well.

I'll be honest, it's one of my least favourite of the year so far. It just didn't do anything for me. But I've seen a lot of people love it, so I definitely think I'm in the minority and I'm happy that everyone who liked it did.

I really dislike Zach snyders movies. I haven’t seen his highest rated films though. Very little character development, unnatural character behavior, dull dialogue.

The one scene in Season 4 that really bothered me is when The Boys let Deep live. Made zero sense to me.

The wheat had more character development and personality than any of the other cast

I agree with you 100%, it felt like a combination of elements from the first two Deadpool movies and MCU DNA, which I find less compelling. I enjoyed the movie, but it's certainly my least favourite of the three films. I gave it a 3.5/5 on Letterboxed, so we're on the same page in terms of rating.

I've been waiting to hear your thoughts on it! I definitely agree, I found it creepy, unsettling, chilling. I think I was scared a couple times. And the performances were great. I plan on seeing it again in a smaller dingy theatre that I think will suit the vibes of it. My favourite Perkins film is The Blackcoat's Daughter, it also co-stars Kiernan Shipka who played Carrie Anne Camera in this. That's the one I've been recommending to people who liked this.

What a piece of crap! When you walk into a movie theater on a Monday and this movie came out over the weekend and look around and only see about 20 people. Oh no, not another crappy movie and a waste of our time and money. Don't be fooled by some critic reviews. When the numbers come out you will see on money it made after the initial opening.

I wanted more of a mystery (it seemed very obvious), and I wanted more of a slasher, like X. I was still into the vibe overall, and I agree that Mia Goth's performance was great. But I don't think I'd rewatch it the way I rewatch X.

I watched the movie 2 days ago and loved it. Sound design was brilliant, packs a punch emotionally and good chemistry between the cast, i really liked how the movie felt a little small in scale. Great video 👍

I totally agree with all of this! The first act was by far the strongest. I was really on board at the start, I think it was an interesting concept and set-up. And then it totally lost me. The third act was ridiculous lol it felt like it had 4 endings, it kept going on, and it was so silly. But at the same time, even as it was losing me throughout the third act, I still wanted to know what was going on! I was still intrigued.

Thanks for the review. I enjoyed the presentation and had no issues with it. Perhaps it's a cultural thing in regards to the previous comments by Shafiq. I'd probably block him from the channel, it actually draws attention to stuff that would've gone unnoticed by most.

I am also noticing that you're coming up with words as you go and because of that there's a lot of *Kinda, sorta, like I said, Like I* which adds to the time your reviews take. I would suggest coming up with a script or at least have a piece of paper laid out in front of you that contains the bullet points you would like to talk about. They'll help direct your review/video and make it more effective. Plus, they need to be edited better. Let's say you're talking about Chris Hemsworth, the video should be shuffling between scenes of you reviewing the film, scenes of Chris Hemsworth being a menace in it. That would help. Once again, your videos need to be shorter and precise in order to attract more audience.

For a new channel like yours, short reviews would help. Keep the reviews short and precise. I would suggest making shorts via which you could promote your channel more effectively. Or you could make two versions of the reviews. The audience needs to connect with you in a shorter period of time and 17 minute videos are not going to help achieve that.

Went to see "The Fall Guy", today for my second time for Mother's Day and took my husband for his birthday and we both love it. I am 78 and he is 74. We laughed a lot. Saw things I didn't notice the first time and am anxious to see it again to see other things I missed.
