I cannot say if your right eye is having amblyopia or not since I haven't examined your eyes. You haven't mentioned what is your visual acuity in left eye. However, you may undergo LASIK. But, at your age, your spectacle power will reduce after Lasik but visual acuity is not likely to improve, if you have less vision in left eye.

@@BhaskarDeychannel sir visual acuity in my left eye is normal I can see crystal clear without specs from that but when I hide my left eye I see blurry with my right eye and when tested it was around -3.5 d in right eye. My brain over time has prefer my dominant eye I.e left eye what does it mean sir? Pllz helpp I can't understand visual acuity he checked it and write on small paper that this is your problem. I think it is anisometropic amblyopia.

@utkarshsingh6882 Now it's quite clear. You have amblyopia in right eye. So as I said earlier, after Lasik your spectacle power will reduce, but there will not be any gain in vision.

Jab requirement and rules vary from State to State. But there are some common rules. Like in Army, Navy, Air force, Police, Drivers etc require perfect Binocular vision, and normal Colour Vision. But for jobs that do not require Binocular vision, such as clerical job, sales personnel, etc may not require perfect Binocular vision.

So many drugs are not advisable to use during pregnancy. Ceflox is one of them. It's cannot be used safely. It's better to ask your Obstetrician.

You should have asked the Doctor who prescribed you these medicines. As far as my knowledge goes, Letepred T may not be harmless during pregnancy. Regarding Refresh tears, it's not all that documented. But in medical science, many a times, we weigh benefits over side effects. Otherwise, how a disease will be cured?

No, not all amblyopic patients have squinted eyes. Amblyopia can be without squint. If your age is above 15 years, there is very less chance of eyes becoming squinted.

Iam 19 years old . It started a month ago . My right eye become little blurry when i used to see far objects .is it curable without using specs?

Can't say without examining your eyes. What you say is confusing. Amblyopia doesn't occur at this age. There must be some other reason why you have blurry vision for one month. I think it's better that you get your eyes checked by an Ophthalmologist.

Your Glaucoma is not associated with pregnancy. It could have occured even if you were not pregnant. So, this glaucoma may not go away after child birth. Thank you for your comment. As I said in my video that there can be dimness of vision in some patients during pregnancy. But that dimness of vision is not much and it goes away after child birth. But you wrote that your vision becomes too low sometimes. That usually doesn't occur in pregnancy. So, there must be some other defect in your eyes. But again you mentioned that your Doctor said that there was no problem. This is puzzling. I may not be possible for me to give you a correct advice without examining your eyes. Hence I suggest that you consult your Eye specialist when your vision becomes very low.

Experiencing a few floaters now and then is not so alarming. It may occur, even, in an otherwise normal eye. But floaters along with seeing flashes of light may be a cause of concern. If that happens you must see your Doctor immediately. Since your Doctor said that your eyes were ok, you may not need an immediate check up now. But if floaters persist or increases, it's better to get a through retina check up, particularly retinal periphery.

@@BhaskarDeychannel dr i wonder how this flashes look like . Is it like camera flashes of our phone ? Cureently i am not experinecing such thing . But i have different types of floaters in both eyes some are dark some are translucent some are like lighted cells.

Flashes are like lightening one can see before storm or at the time of stormy rain.

Lasik surgey does not cause defect of binocular vision. I think it was present before LASIK. As regards treatment, it is not advisable to write any treatment without examining your eyes. Please consult an Ophthalmologist. Best wishes for your upcoming medical examination.

Hi, thank you for your nice comment. And, congratulations for delivering twins. The dryness that occurs in pregnancy and after child birth usually goes away in a few months. It doesn't remain permanent. So you need not worry. It'll go away. Sometimes it may persist a little longer. In such a situation, application of lubricating eye drops is most helpful. I think you're doing that. In addition I may recommend foods containing Vitamin A, such as yellow coloured fruits and green leafy vegetables. Also you may take some Vitamin A supplement after consultation with your G&O specialist. I wish you a speedy recovery from your present eye problems.

As far as I am concerned, I do not believe in computerized spectacle power testing. Not only you. There are thousands like you, who got fault positive results on spectacle power testing with an autorefractor. Obviously I would say that the manual method is correct. But, having said that I would recommend that you take another opinion at a different clinic.
