I’m not going to lie ! I like this mechanic ! He tells you EXACTLY what’s wrong ! Shows you well he does it . I like that ! I do the same . Then the customer knows everything you are doing.

She’s lucky it isn’t a head gasket. For people that don’t know you basically have to go take apart the engine and it takes a hit min, but most people would just buy a new or used engine sometimes

Sure that's useful. IF you are a mechanic and have a lift that you can raise the vehicle up above you. 99% of the people do not have such a luxury however when changing their own belts.

that coil pack design is awful. replaced them a few times and it seems like every single one had at least 1 coil break off. at least they’re easy when it doesnt get stuck

I have always tried to operate with honesty and integrity, there's no reason to tell someone they need something they don't other than greed.
