Are u in Canada?
You are a genius, woman!
I have the exact same Thai tea but it never turns orange with me?
When my wife makes this she puts the glass noodles in the meatballs.
As an American with absolutely no cultural foods that I enjoy, or appreciate, I must say I enjoy watching videos on other people's heritage and foods. However, I am not so sure that tamarind would be something I'm willing to try😂😂❤❤
That looks ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!
GENIUS!! Thank you....
Seriously this is one of the tastiest meals! Great with jasmine rice in the side, thank you so much for this wonderful and easy to make dish!❤❤❤❤❤❤🥰🥰🥰👍
🙏😋😎
Makes me want to go out and buy some prawns to try this!
Pailin, do Thai curries not need a sour component, like lemon or lime juice?
Looks so good! Love from China
Doesnt thai tea also contain other spices like star anise?
I never bother to remove it. It's safe to eat shrimp with it still there. So not necessary.
I can find only Aroy-D in Russian shops, green curry, yellow curry and tom yum paste. Haven't seen any other thai brands
😮 ok 😊
Wahhh
The texture was so not yummy.
I wonder if toasted, fine coconut (unsweetened, of course) would work in place of graham crackers? I know it wouldn’t be the same (it won’t absorb the butter quite like graham crackers do), but I was just trying to come up with something quick that would be gluten free and also delicious (thought if almonds, too, but then I gotta blend them… lol).
Did she make that little "pop" noise at the very end? She's so beautiful too! 😅
Wow new technology
I thought that wasnt a vein. Depooping a shrimp
Thank you for sharing how to cook the sticky rice, you so right there is so many ways to to cook the sticky I love the steaming methods, thanks again ,God Bless.
We just ate the whole shrimp
oh this is really good even better than pad thai
real deal
As a mid west American it is weird to me for an Asian market to look like a regular supermarket. In Kansas City every Asian market is different in their own special way
I think nobody knows that fact that with a shrimp or a prawn we dont just have to de vein it but it also has a stomach and digestion line underneath and that also has to be removed like this otherwise you will be eating them with all their waste.
I usually buy the kewpie brand, add a bit more sesame seeds and sesame oil, and a little bit of mirin and ground black pepper. guess i'll try pailin's recipe soon :)
Genius thank you!
Very informative, but the bottom of the shrimp is where the actual dirt or poo, which has to be cleaned. Just a friendly advice.
This is saving my entire gluten intolerant life
can somebody please tell me what to do with the leftover skin?
Game changer!!!
Thank you ❤😊
An amazing recipe which pairs with any dish! 🥰
Pull it up. POOP ! 😊😅
Nam Jim Jaew best sauce in the entire world, GOAT
Everyone knows it's not really a vein, but we're going to continue calling it a vein. Agreed?
I don’t know why I don’t make these more often. Especially as basa is cheap as
Best trick ever
Hello Pai, Lovely video and review of a few local Cambodian restaurants in Siem Reap. Since this video was filmed back in 2018, where is Sam Khmer noodles located in Siem reap? Thank you, Lenny
Have been going back to your videos in the past 6 months (recent discovery), and just ordered your latest cookbook!
whats the difference between waterfall and boat noodles?
Ok, i don't want the shell as well
Tip...those type of chonese soup spoons you eat from the side of yhe spoon. N
Just made some....with a 'twist'.....left out the garlic, lime juice & shallots .....added minced fresh ginger, sweet chilli sauce , dried kaffir lime leaves & rice vinegar.....hoo haaaaa.....is good good good !
It’s not easy to pull it up with shell on.
So why do you call it a vein when it’s actually the shrimp’s bowel?
Thank you for sharing your discovery, I look forward to trying it. A tip , when you know their is a lot of water in the packet you are about to open, you can do it in or over the sink, even just snip the end to let the bulk of the water to drain , no need to make a mess on the bench.
