I have gmc w4 cabover with this 5.7 350 tbi and my studs and nuts look like they were melted to nothing by acid the egr sheet metal case snapped loose but the egr still works i have it strapped down in place im afraid of removing it for replacement not knowing what to do get threaded studs out sure hope not gonna have to remove the intake ....

If the fass is making to much fuel psi,you can remove the spring and cut a full coil off and that will lower the fuel psi

Good job just from my personal preference i install the drivers side exhaust manifold on the head before you put it on i also cap all the ports on the fuel rail and use it as a lifting point with a cherry picker and use the center injector hold down bolt and another chain to hold the head at the same angle as the block you can set them by hand but nothing will ruin your quick weekend project like ruining a brand new Grade C gasket
If you’d have used the metal hammer with the nut flush it would’ve popped right of. It needs the shock, the plastic hammer doesn’t deliver it. Usually one lick pops it, with the nut flush you won’t damage anything.

I’m having the same issue with my truck. I’ve changed so much shit on it and it keeps not fixing the problem so I’m gonna try this next, but the way you described it in the beginning of the video sounds exactly like what I’m going through.

That inside bolt is NOT easy. 89 k1500. Having huge issues with that inside bolt
Just like people buy a work truck to do a job, people buy a Prius to do a job. There’s a reason why every modern taxi uses a Prius. Delivery drivers etc. just like that truck it serves a purpose it’s not about ego or environment, it’s about economics.
I just replaced my TPS and its now throwing a 32 code. The check engine light only comes on at about 45 to 50 MPH. Below that putting around town the light is off.

I keep having the problem of my injectors popping out the bolts are tight for the injector hold down brackets I’m not sure what is happening
Just changed one in my 94' 2 dr yukon along with the AIC. This is a spare truck and check engine light has been on since 05'. The EGR was totally shot and clogged up. The truck ran fine but idled about 11-1200 while sitting and occasionally stumbled at a stoplight. Not a ton of difference but does idle down to 900 and no stumble, check engine light still comes on. 214k on mine
I have a 2 door Yukon as well. And it feels like it wants to die on me at a stop sign or traffic light stop

Hey there. Glad I came across this video. Currently building my 01 Sierra LB7 right now. Going all out with a custom built ATS Stage 5 transmission. I love how you set up the center stack for the outlet, AC compressor, etc. Looking to do the same thing. How did you wire the inverter there? And where did you get the panel to put there? Did you make it? Super interested in how you made that work! My AC compressor is also on a switch since my AC panel is messed up too. I’d love to do the same thing to my truck!

Code 33 is map sensor, high voltage.
I have an 01 Dually almost exact same build. LDS SAC 45s, I have the LBZ sportsman pump, LDS 64mm V2 turbo, ARP, new fuel lines and bolts, 5" Magnaflow with muffler. Banks Ram air, 3 pillar Max tow gauges ,dsp5 with 140 tune, no limp so i just got 250 hp tune. hopefully she'll hold. Trans was supposedly done before I got the truck. Mine is stock height grandpa looking truck. BUT SHE RIPS!

What would cause a slightly high idle. Around 1000-1100. I know the EGR needs to be replaced. Where the vacuum hose is is clogged up. It also has a exhaust leak that’s getting fixed today. Seems to run out fine
