Thanks man! Just keep at it. Some spots hold more bucks than others. No real secret for me just try to find areas with good deer sign (rubs mainly) just put in the time and sooner or later it'll pay off! I had to walk MANY miles for these guys lol

I own an 89 Chevy 1500 as well, but don't have any wheel hop on brake torques. Mind you, my engine is bored and has a larger cam and breaks traction right away.
mine hops for a second but thats it. its really not an issue for me
dude. i got an 88 silverado 350 with a 5spd. itll break em loose but wheelhop is fucking ridiculous. did you cure it in any way or is your truck somehow just more cooperative than mine
i forgot to put them up. it was 191 hp and 266 tq but this is when i first got the car when it had been sitting on the side of a garage for 2 yrs, needing a tune up, oil change and the timing was way off, bc the first run the hp was 171 then i just advanced it real quick to see and it jumped up 20hp. so tuned right, it was way higher than it dynoed
what where the numbers dude?
no it wasnt the origional motor. it came with a 305 tpi
L98 350 in an 86? That's not the original motor then. Still not bad though.
