These vendors are supposed to wear gloves as well. My late husband always made sure befre purchasing any food from a street vendor or fast food facility, the person handling our order wore gloves. Otherwise, he refused to eat their food. We also witnessed a cook from a CHECKERS drive thru in toms river nj pick his nose and then picked up hamburger with the spatula then with is snot finger hand without gloves grab the bun and wrapped the sandwich. We almost regurgitated. We then called the franchise headquarters to report what we witnessed. But, no one reached back to us, unfortunately.
