Have not heard any updates on this recreation/rebuild in a long time, 9-1-23. I keep checking the Samba thread on it, and other information outlets, no updates. I hope they are making progress, and have addressed the glaring and obvious inaccuracies on the new body. This is no doubt a major, daunting task, but they were up to the job on VW38 #6, it turned out nearly perfect. I hope they can get this W30 to that level as well.

omg I would have ridden in the sunroof of a bay window late 70s just to be in that convoy. Really wanted to go but I had a fixed schedule of work that needed to be done during that time.
