Yes! definitely inspired by some of the visual spectacle from Avatar - the forest was so cool, especially at night! I hope I can get something like that :D

What modpacks have u played before touching GTNH?
Lots of them! My most played is vanilla by many many thousand hours - but some of my favorite modpacks are Sevtech ages, crash landing, and agrarian skies. This is my first major GT playthrough (plus 1 restart at LV)
This aesthetic idea is just so creative. I can't wait for how it turs out!

Any advice on adding shaders after Angelica was added in 2.6.0? Optifine is not compatible with this version
I have not updated for exactly this reason :( The shaders are so critical to the aesthetic. I have heard that if you remove angelica you can add optifine without problems but I'm personally not yet willing to take the chance. Sampsa has also suggested he will not make updates to the shaders for Angelica, so barring major gameplay changes that affect the eras I am in or will be in soon I will probably be on 2.5.1 for some time

I am happy to make one! I finally learned how to use the mod haha :D You can find me on discord under the same name. Considering making a discord server explicitly for this purpose as well, the builds have just begun :P and i know lots of people have cool stuff to share!

absolutely loved the video, maybe for the next build instead of going up you can dig down and have a split in the earth with the blue decals from the tree spreading out to the surface.

the magic energy absorber really shines, when you use bees to get a huge aura node, energize that node, and use the CV from the energized node to power the absorber, my base runs 99% on magic absorbers rn, the rest is just leftover from before i could make them. bees produce most of the resources for the absorber crafting too
i think they will play a role.... our venture into the dark arts will come with consequences though :P mwahahahaha

@Garronimo Could you please share what shaders are you using, and info if you modified any of the files for the modpack? I've been looking into modding sildurs, so it accepts all the modded blocks and their properties, through metadata, but hell is it tedious

@Garronimo at the end of the series could your enormous gigantic mega base take up a 63by63 region files and it has outside and inside decoration such as houses, pathways/streets, signs, parks ETC...?
I don't know how big, but it will definitely be gigantic :D and feature all sorts of buildings and decorations!
@@Garronimo so you will use the interior decoration blocks in your builds in this playthrough, is that correct?
@@JohnJohnson-ez4pd I'm not sure know which interior decoration blocks you mean, but it's definitely fair to say I will be decorating the interiors, and there will be roads and buildings and "parks" if you can call them that when they are full of mutated trees :P If you mean bibliocraft blocks specifically, it's pretty unlikely I will use those in this playthrough. They don't really fit the style. Hope this helps!

A GT:NH series which world tells a story through videos? Now this is something new and even crazier then normal GT:NH series! I´ll definitely have to keep watching. The video was great for a brief "Here´s what I did last week." kind of series. I would like a bit more explaining if you plan on making a more playthrough like series.
The main thing I want to do is tell a story! :D The quests and tech will help me do that but I don't think they will be central to the series. Lots of youtubes are doing an awesome job with that type of content and I was inspired to try something a little different! The pack is so good, the imagination is the only limit :) That said, I will try to do a least a little bit of explaining what is going on as we continue! Things will definitely get more complicated haha

impressive base building as always! also, you can get some that Dragon egg generator thingy from Ross128b, but I'm not sure which tier it was in. And for powergen I would say benzene is OP, just set it up and do daily maintenance, and upgrade to nitrobenzene should be good until you get fusion, also saves all those oil for DT to get maximum amount of those juicy outputs!
I know I'll probably need benzene eventually but using it as my main power source might reverse the earth's path of vengeance :P

Hey everyone! We're a day late and a dollar short - but I am so excited about this build! I know pleasing everyone is impossible, but I tried to take all the feedback from episode one and do a little bit of everything in this one. Hopefully it's not too much of a mess :D Let me know what you think of the story of the world!
Condensing 300 hours into one 20 minute video is honestly insane. Props to you for managing to get the important stuff in. Also it took the group I’m playing with around 400 hours to reach EV, so nice work for getting there faster (although I’m sure people can get to EV much faster than this)
haha yes i watched early parts of the ballers run that was done by the GTNH devs (vods are on sampsa's channel) and they got to AE in mere days. Completely insane, though there are quite a few of them and they are the devs lol. I took basically a direct path to AE and filled all the ore processing time with bees and thaumcraft (using the block gate trick before i realized it was considered a bug saved at least 15 hours alone), did nearly everything in massive batches with no automation other than fuel (so minimal time spent making machines, tinkering with setups, etc), and used the home command
