⁠kr fan here. Paea is a fine shout, he was a very good prop for us in what is probably our weakest position. Netherton should be nowhere near tho, squad player but never one of our best- him over Vella is awful. Hall, Vella, Newton and Mini over Hodgson, Nevvo, Horne and Gene and that teams spot on for me

Yeah Saints is definitely a tough one because there is so many great players past and present. When we look back in 10 years time the core of that team that won 4 in a row (Lomax included) will all be in the all time team.

French plays primarily Stand-off for Wigan, he will be in the Stand-off video. Although I do agree he probably is up there with Welsby and Field.

@@TryTimePodcast As a Wigan fan I would say that Field is a far better cover tackler than French and more constructive in his passing from full back. French is as good an broken field runner as Field but his bigger build and better all round game make him a better option at stand-off as his bulk aids his tackling and helps him break the line. Wellens has a good all round game but is often found out of position in the defensive line, especially from grubber kick. Dufty is somewhat suspect in defense but excellent in attack. Ultimately I would put Field at no1 in my list.

French will be in the Stand-off rankings don’t worry!

Been very good but is he a necessary luxury? Miski definitely also there but as top try scorer last year that felt a bridge too far

One of the best hookwrs considering him and Mikey acting as half allows for may to be a free floating player think of it like two CDM in football allow the platform for a cam to express their abilities because may is not a 7 he’s a free roaming off the cuff player
