We had a group of 21 people and EVERY thing got screwed up. The keys to the room, the dinner packages, the added amenities we purchased before we left. The customer service was atrocious. They had no way of resolving any of our issues while on the ship or even prior. Our rep, Cory, kept telling us that things were going to be fine once we got on the ship and that couldn't have been further from the truth. The staff at the dining hall and cleaning service were fantastic and so helpful - however Norweigan's customer service in general was horrific. If you could imagine how much money we spent bringing 21 people on the ship to have customer service hang up on my mother (the one coordinating the trip) after spending 3 hours trying to fix the things that THEY screwed up. Also the kids HATED the Splash Academy and we couldn't leave them more than twice because they disliked it so much. Very disappointed and not worth the money.

July 1st celebrating our anniversary

We were on the joy last week. I found that the staffing was much better. I don’t gamble so the casino doesn’t interest me. Multiple bartenders at each bar. I am sorry that NCL stopped the. Broadway shows. I did not see the main show . The ship was really crowded which we expected as school is out . Food was excellent. Staff was phenomenal. Did not use internet. Stayed off the grid. Really loved that. The Beatles show was really good. Observation lounge is the best.

No exaggeration, I have watched easily over 200 videos on Alaska cruising. This is the best one yet. Great job!

I did back to back Alaska cruises. A week on NCL Bliss which returned on Saturday to Seattle and next day I got on Encore for another week. Slightly different itinerary but I enjoyed it all. I travelled inside cabins to keep it affordable. Balcony cabins are SO overpriced during summer but fine if you want to overpay.

Nice review. It sure looks like fun. I'm considering seeing it on my October trip. Cocktails look good. Not sure if it's good for a solo traveler, however.

I'm really happy to hear you saw so many whales! That is one of my biggest reasons for wanting to visit Alaska. 😊

Tip... before you leave, get your sponge wet, douce your sponge in the dish liquid, let it dry out completely, cut it into fourths, and use one piece to wash your cups/ dishes. No having to worry about liquids and TSA. Just toss the pieces into a ziploc baggie. My 1 sponge has lasted multiple cruises.

Jet lag! Try flying from Australia! We’re cruising NCL right at the end of the season in 2024. Can’t wait!

As a frequent visitor to Dollywood, I really enjoyed seeing that you guys enjoyed the park for many of the same reasons I do. The tip about where to stay was the exact same conclusion we've come to. The math just makes sense to stay at one of the resorts. We've stayed at both, and Heartsong is the way to go.

Hey guys, love the videos! We just got back from an Icon cruise, and have the Allure booked later this summer. I'm wondering, since it's heading for a refurbishment, how old or worn out did you think the ship felt? Obviously it's going to feel different from a brand new ship. How many suitcases did you have to bring for this much clothing? Just the shoes for one person was probably already half of a 28 inch suitcase. I’m packing and I plan to bring just 1/3 of what you brought but for 2people , things are already overflowing the 2 suitcases (1 28 inch and 1 25 inch).

Respect your review but me and wife thought was worst restaurants we ate at at recent trip but everyone likes different things!

We loved the Joy so much last July that we booked it again this June 2nd:-) We like the Vibe beach club, Observation lounge, the staff, Whiskey bar, casino, restaurants....

I know this was a few years ago but this video has been very helpful.

We just did our first cruise and it was on the Norwegian Joy. We also had internet problems as well. The poolside area did have good bar coverage while we were there. Shout out to our favorite bartender Gede from Indonesia. The food was fantastic and so was the staff. Guest services was helpful . You were right about the lack of shows. They had canceled footloose and they do need more options for kids under 3. My granddaughter who is 4 loved the time she spent with aqua play staff. My adult kids with their kids loved the observation lounge. I'd also like to thank our room steward Royal who was so helpful. We had a great time.

Guys, your tips were amazing! We went on the 5 day cruise in late march and had a blast. Your tips made it easy to avoid the crowds and find the great spots, like the observation deck. Bravo!

Should of started with Norwegian cruise line

In cases of extreme emergency where more comprehensive facilities are required, patients are referred to shoreside facilities. There’s a hospital in Juneau (Bartlett Regional Hospital), Sitka (Edgecumbe Medical Center) in Ketchikan ( PeaceHealth Ketchikan Medical Center), plus you should have signed up for the medical coverage.

Mystery Mine, seeing people’s reaction while riding is so fun. None of the coasters disappoint.
