what size prop is that im replacing mine and i cant find the prop size its worn off so bad. New to me engine same one you have
It’s a 11p prop . It’s the Stock prop
Nice video, thank you. Was that kilometers per hour? I converted that to 23 knots?!... It looked more like high 20's? The engine sounded great with nice revs with easy going on the water matched with great balance. It looked smooth :)

these engines are more reliable then you think cause they're just built incredibly simple. I'm an outboard mechanic and I've never seen anyone have any major issues with these. I hope this increases your confidence in this proud little motor a bit ❤
This one has a few issues. A cracked head/ bolts missing/ gaskets needed to be replaced but it’s getting there.

Hi, quick question due to the size of the motor, do you have rego and insurance for the boat, or does it fall under the regulations Thank
If a boat/ hull is under 5.5 metres with an outboard 5hp or under the New South Wales regulations say it does not have to be registered or the person operating the vessel does not require a boat license.

Out of the 5 it was set on 3 ( the middle) neutral trim
Got one , 1999 25 EL . Probably has less than 30 hrs on it and its going on a 14 ft Steury side console this spring .

I own the same engine, it’s awesome. Even if it has rough idle. Do you also have the 2+2 carbs, where there are only 2 cylinders running in lower rpm (<2500?)? Yours is running smooth like butter compared with mine.

Great job on the merc. I have a 115 2 stroke on my boat an up to today i love it,, little loud to a four stroke but am ok with that.. love my merc.. 👍👍👍👍👍
