How did you give it 3.3 volts , did you connect them externally or connected the big battery while flashing
hi, i used the 3.3 from the stlink thing i think, hope this helps
Hi, I can’t seem to understand how to link this video with the hoverboard one. Like how do I get the connected ps3 controller to output to the DAC script and control the hoverboard?
hi, yes control the output of the DAC with the ps3 controller, it will be outputting a voltage, you can test it by plugging the DAC output into an analog pin and reading the voltage when sending different signals to confirm its working, hope this helps
Can i use mine without a Door as mines just smashed
ye just stick to pla and tpu and you should be ok
Thanks
Welcome
I have 4 wheels can i controll them with only two card (one in each side)?
you could use 2 hoverboard motherboards
I just dived into this i figured out how to flash and load the test program into the board. But havent find any quides how to set the board as a gocart like throtte & brakes. Or edit any files or somethimg like that been on to it more then 12h straight
hi, sometimes a break can help you get past things you are stuck on, I have a couple of motherboard hacking videos that you may find helpful, if you are ok with arduino you can manipulate the signals going to the boards to do what ever you want, hope this helps
@@A-tech i finally lerned how to select what i need and build program & upload the program. But now i need to find a way for throttle/brake and forward/neutral/reverse inputs.
Sure bruh, what wires are you cutting,? What are they? Terrible explanation
copper wires bro
Thank you for making the videos. Questions how would you go about using the new boards
hi, there is a channel called 'robo durden' hes quite upto date with new boards, thats the first place i would look, hope this helps
Really really cool. Well done !
Thank you! Cheers!
My go plus hasn't worked in like 2 years and I was about to throw it out......now its working thanks to you 😭🙏🙏 thank you!!!
happy to help!
I want to use my 2 hoverboard to control all 4 wheels. To use for my lawnmower. Which wires to I connect between the two boards?
hi, the boards dont need to be connected together, hope this helps
@@A-tech can you please elaborate. How do they connect together if it running on just one Remote Control? That means the remote would run 4 wheels simultaneously…
Hello! Can you send the circuit diagram for connecting the board to the Arduino and the code? thank you!
hi, the wiring diagram is in the later part of the video, you can get a screenshot from that, the code is really basic, you can use the fade example to send a pwm signal or use a dac to mimic a potentiometer, hope this helps!
Great idea, can I have that tinkercad file please? I'd really appreciate that
no problem, I have put the link in the description
Is that it?! no part 2 then 😂
Thank you very much for this share Can you please send the hex code as I could flash using the st link I am not able to do that
Thank you very much for the video + files!
You are welcome!
Do you still need to use the dacs with the controller, like in your other video?
hi, thats right yes, you use the dacs to mimic the potentiometer, so you can use them with so many things, thanks
ur a god ty so much
Rc car with built in hoover. Clean you floor for free?
that would have been a good thing to put on, it would help it stick to the ground too
I have a working hoverboard motor (tested on another system ) , I have purchased a brand new 36v controller with lcd ( s866 ) brand new throttle and brand new hoverboard battery for my e bike project but I'm experiencing no throttle issues I have checked voltage and purchased 3 brand new throttles checked wires tried swapping around but still no throttle
hi, hmm so e-bike controller, ok i heard they have a safety or activation wire you need to power too? might be that? hope this helps
@@A-tech yes I have seen the same thing ( thanks for the suggestion) , as this one ☝️ really puzzled me every thing brand new fully charged checked all cables etc , I guess it dose t leave much !
Cool... your TT01 seems to be powerful, hard to control at times. I lost control & crashed my TT02 due to tyer fly out during full throttle. Guessed super glue all tyers is the answer. Thanks build buddy~
yes without a gyro too, thanks
Awful work. You used an HDD to keep the board in place for soldering?!
top tip: old hard drives are heavy so they are good for weighing things down to stop them moving
Absolutely pure english language . Thank you, Sir
thank you
Where i can get dual motor ESC for 36v and remote
hi, you could use the hoverboard motherboard and make a controller for it
@@A-tech i have 12v Esc and transmitter with controller from kids car , it will be nice if you can make a video how to do it , i wanna put hoverboard wheels to kids car so i can control it and i don’t know if 12v esc and transmitter from kids car will hold 36v
Whats the code for the ps4 controller? I cant get it to control the wheels.
hi, have a look at my ps3 controller to arduino video, thanks
Omg, thank you! It's fixed!
Glad it helped!
Hi nice hack, can you send the Arduino code code and the part # of the motor controller. Thank you
hi, the code is just basic pwm, you can get it from a fade example in the ide, I did another video with the controller but they are not that good, using the motherboard that comes with the hoverboard is best I think, thanks
Hi. How did this project ultimately turn out? Cant seem to find the next video. Cheers for sharing. This is perfect info for me who wants to build a scooter. ❤ Were you able to share the firmware that you had? Made any changes sense this one?
hi yes there is another video: czcams.com/video/7lScM__fiOE/video.html, I havnt done anything with the motors since, mostly been working on the rc cars, thanks
It's good to see honest thoughts about this printer. Today I smashed my glass too. It is very fragile when attention comes to 2nd place. As always, 99% of "problems" belong to us. Thanks! 😀
they should have just made them acrylic, I did hear back from them eventually and they have agreed to send me a replacement, might be worth sending them an email, cs@creality.com, good luck and thanks for the comment
Just smashed the glass on my new k1 tonight! Woot
it breaks way too easy!
@@A-tech Can you or @ThreeDPrintDesigns help me with something please? My door was shattered on delivery. I cleared all debris that I could physically reach, but when I check (by tilting my printer, like emptying shards into a bag for example) -- it's like there's a TON of glass like... INSIDE the printer. It's really weird, and I don't know how to get it all out, and I can't find literally anything online and the support team is SOOOOO slow to provide any meaningful assistance.
Hello, did you connect all 4 motor controllers to the same Arduino? Can you share the code you wrote on Arduino?
hi, yes they were on the same arduino, they were pwm controlled so you can use a 'fade' arduino example and then just connect the right pins, I dont recommend this motor controller , the hoverboard motherboard way is loads better, hope this helps
Dude it’s not a Buggy!! 😂
ye bit low this one to be doing jumps like that haha
what happens if I leave the steering pot unplugged ?
hi, im not sure, could be center or might be random or might not work at all, thanks
I'm also having issues with connecting the board 2 the cube programmer
does one need to use steering pot? what if we making a trike and dont need that.
hi, i think you would need one to set them to be the same, if none is connected im not sure what would happen, they might go the same by default, you could probably connect a potentiometer to the steering for a bit of electronic differential, i think even with a trike the rear wheels would want to go different speeds, hope this helps
@@A-tech agreed. Just rather not have extra dials a kid can play with. Maybe i mount on steering column with gear to accomplish the differencial when steering. But from what i see in your video this would also mean if steering is turned with no throttle it would still activate which is why i rather not have it at all
Hi, this is good info thanks were did you get the Hoverboard motor holders from the Aluminum brackets I need some like them for my project thanks.
hi, they are cnc rod or shaft support brackets, 14mm i think, hope this helps
Very cool!
thanks
But i need to flash software or no
yes that happens when you upload the new software
NO CODE NEEDED!!!! SIMPLY REMOVE EACH GYRO BOARD ON EACH SIDE, MAKE A PLATFORM FOR THEM TO MOUNT ON NEXT TO EACHOTHER, AND A SIMPLY THROTTLE CABLE CAN CHANGE THE TILT ANGLE ON THE PLATFORM!!!
what you are describing is a go kart kit that people can already buy, have you seen the one with a seat and 2 levers?
@@A-tech no... can you link... and not really looking to buy.. i have multiple hoverboards no longer in use and in great shape, i would like to use them if at all posible. not making a gocart but a trike.
@@A-tech never mind found it... again, i do not want to go thru the hassel of flashing firmware and writing code. i saw somewhere a guy that added some resisters to the board itself to allow for throttle control.
No sound??
there is a bit of sound at the end if that helps
Hi, I'm thinking of doing the same thing with my rc. I just bought the PXN V10 wheel. Would you mind sharing your parts list and arduino sketch?
Hi, I'm actually in the process of creating a detailed video outlining the entire build, if you want to get started you can get an arduino uno with usb host shield, in the examples sketch there is one for joystick, load that up and plug in your wheel to see if it works, thanks
Cool! I will wait for your video. I will also check the joystick library. I just bought the wheel so it might be a few days till I get it. Thanks!
@@A-tech did that video ever come out i cant find it and have been looking into doing somthing like this unfortunately theres almost nothing online about actually doing this just asking cant wait to see the switch project expand!
Title should have said ABS prints since that is a critical point.
I will add ABS into the title, thanks
It's amazing how low quality prints the Creality K1 produces. What's all this ghosting and ringing? Otherwise, nice tutorial. I've been 3D printing ABS/ASA for 5 years and haven't given vapor smoothing a chance even once. Perhaps I should.
Hi, yes it might have something to do with the low infil and the 0.1 layer height, it doesnt seem so bad on the black one, yes I think it makes them stronger too, thanks
It took you 20 hours to do a print I like to buy on that’s faster can you tell me
These parts only took 1.5 hours to print
Great video. Used on acrylic, this technique is called vapour etching - it gives a frosted glass type finish, rather than the polished look it gives on ABS.
Why can't you use pla?
it doesn't dissolve in acetone
Yes, you can use nail varnish remover. The acetone is a solvent for ABS & ASA and will evaporate off the piece once removed from the fume container.
make sure to use nail polish remover that has acetone in it, as not all of them have nowadays
thanks
just a tip ::: set the container on a heated print bed and set that to at least 50c to help the acetone gas of more this will cut your smoothing time in half if not more
ahh no way didnt think of that, thanks for the tip
Have you made these 3d files available on any website?
hi, i think they are public on my tinkercad page, my name on it is A-Tech, thanks
Hello dear, can you share the code for what you burned in the Arduino tool to learn? Thank you
hi, no problem, if you check out my other hoverboard video with this controller i have added the code in the description and also a wiring diagram, i would recommend using the 'Flipsky VESC' or a genuine hoverboard motherboard instead as they are much better and less prone to problems during use, thanks
Hoverboards with frickin' lay-zer beams.!! 👍 👍 👍 😂 😂 😂
I might need to get myself one of these newfangled 3D printer gadgets.!
they are very useful
