Those are good points, but the airport itself and experiences within are most definitely superlative to any airport in the US I've used for travel. Please let me know if there is a US Terminal or airport tjis modernized. Also, this is not just my opinion. The new LGA has won international, prestigious design awards.

@@thewholetraveler it’s definitely beautiful in design especially if you went through LGA before the remodel. LGA is top 5 for me but as far as all around and connectivity to the city DEN is at the top. Actual lounge areas, so much unrestricted seating. Outside viewing deck, metro direct to city. Some days LGA pre check doesn’t even open until 6. Which is crazy given it’s used for a lot of early morning business travel out of NYC.

@JeffyShyChannel DIA is not a great airport, but it's also not an apt comparison. DIA is a mega airport servicing both International and Domestic flight. Its comparators would be LAX, ORD, JFK, EWK. I do agree that DIA is better than JFK, ORD and EWK but not LAX. ALSO AT DIA the Amex Lounge was the most packed and run down looking one Ive used...at LGA in TER B it's nearly new and fresh.

He took the clothes out of his suitcase and put them yo avoid paying an excessive weight fee...but now he has to figure out where all those clothes go...

You dont work for an LLC carrier and know their business model. Theres a reason why southwest is in business

@@Prestonation630 American Airlines and Allegiant have different business models. Ameican is more traditional, you have set meal and luggage but you pay more. Allegiant will cut costs to bare minimum for no frills service and minimal carry on, and you pay extra if you want more service. Guy on plane is being cheap and a nuisance to the other people on the plane cause he's trying to hack the system for Low Cost Carriers (LLC) like Allegiant and Southwest and OP is calling him out on his shenanigans. Makes sense?

@JorgeFlores-xb3ih Hi Jorge, yes your father would qualify for wheelchair assistance. They have special lines and offer additional help. Who they allow with that person differs from airport to airport but if its you and your father, I'm sure they will allow you together if you explain you are your father's caretaker for the trip. Hope that helps!

I agree, but in some places that ship has already sailed, too much damage from too little regulation has reached a tipping point. Barcelona is in the process of passing legislation that will outlaw all short-term housing rentals starting in 2026. It's gained a lot of support from both locals and the hotel/tourist industry... That may be a harbinger of what's to come with over-touristed destinations.

Yes, almost all of JFK is international flights, while LGA is for N. American and Caribbean flights. Hope that helps!
