I watched all of one piece (when wano was ending) in 3 months. And then 2 months later I rewatched it with my fiancee and it took her 6 months. I watched every episode twice in 1 year. It’s not that bad length wise once you get into it

Even the manga has recaps nowadays, too much running around and scene jumping and every fight is off panel.

Based on plot Demon Slayer is better it's simple straightforward and it's well done there is parts where it feels rushed but all in all its ok unlike JJK the plot is bad theres no build up twist or development on the story all the characters are amazing but the plot bugs man

Highly disagree, infact I'd say the take itself is quite bad as it becomes a norm "anime manga elitists" to trash on anything that would have been released on a Shonen magazine. Naruto like One Piece also suffers from pacing and sometimes quality issues (though it does a much much better job because even the first arc had amazing Sakuga and you can skip fillers). The first arc in general is quite heavily packed with good story and action, even the anime with all it's flaws is able to make it hold up, in just under 20 episodes. It's still hard to take their opinions seriously because obviously they either don't remember a lot of the series or haven't picked up a single volume.

WHAT THE FUCK! I just watched the anime and it was so fucking cute and wholesome the entire time, and THIS is how the story canonically ends? Why the fuck didn’t he just get with the single mom? Jesus fucking christ The worst part is, I’m not a regular trash taste viewer but I have seen a lot of their clips over the years, and I saw this one a while back. Afterwards i forgot what anime they were talking about and I never thought about it since. Then I found the anime in a different unrelated way, and went in “blind” and really liked it. Then as I was searching the Internet for more information after it ended, because clearly it hadn’t resolved the story, I got a nasty thought in the back of my head… Remember that time trash taste was talking about a wholesome anime where a guy raises a little girl as his daughter, and then they inexplicably end up banging at the end? But surely that is not this anime. Surely it must be something else. And lo and behold…
