Hello Cat. I have been following your video series on this very interesting book by Howard Zinn. I would suggest that you also have a look at Aime Césaire’s Discourse on Colonialism.

In order to oppress another, we must dehumanize them and in order to dehumanize others, we must dehumanize ourselves. If we are dehumanized then we are dehumanized and society ran by dehumanized folks just isn’t going to … you get it. An injury for one is an injury for all.
