You mention this is everything about configuring geofence, but you don't address setting up multiple users.
Access can be granted to any or all locations created through the Resideo - Smart Home app. Start by tapping the Global Drawer (three-line menu) button at the upper left-hand corner of the screen. Select "Users" and tap on the "Invite New User" button. Type in the email address of the user you wish to invite and press "Send" If the invited email already has a Resideo - Smart Home account set up, the location will automatically show up in their account. If the invited email doesn’t have an account, they will receive an email invitation prompting them to download the Resideo - Smart Home app and create their own account. -Cesar

There are no instructions on how to set up and check other devices. It came with 1 extra device but you have to guess how to use it. I would not recommend it. Yes, I have called them 4 times.

When I use the app, it has locked me into just 4 periods: wake away home sleep. How can I add more?
Hi! Thank you for reaching out. On both the thermostat Menu and the app, the 4 scheduling periods available are the ones you mentioned prior. It is not possible to add/create more. -Cesar
Definitely need to add more periods. Every home has their own quirks, giving us the ability to set more periods can help make our homes more comfortable. Especially for those living in homes that have temperature differences between rooms.
Whats the sd slot for?
There is one strange behavior that I have found about the Honeywell 4204. Smoke detector reset. If the smoke detector is cleared manually, say twisting off the smoke from the base for example, then it will not perform a smoke detector reset. It will only perform a smoke detector reset if the smoke is still in alarm when the panel is cleared. Likewise, if you are using a non-smoke fire alarm device, water flow switch for sprinklers, heat detector, or a manual pull station, then it will not do a smoke detector reset on those, except for the Simplex heat detector, it might do a smoke detector reset on a Simplex heat detector. This can be very confusing and can cause you to request a service call when there is no need due to a mistaken belief that the 4204 is not working. I found this out the hard way. Also, fire alarm sirens tied to the 4204 will not be silenced by pressing the 1 key, like you can on the Honeywell vista 20p built in siren circuit. You have to press the security code then 1 to silence a 4204 operated fire alarm siren. Also, strobes hooked to the 4204 will not do audible silence or selective silence. Pressing the code then 1 will turn off the strobe as well. To get around this problem, program the 4204 to turn the strobe on during a duress event. Then press in your distress code and presto! You have audible silence! I found this out on my Honeywell vista 20p system that I installed to protect my family and my dog.

The worst wifi connectivity process I have ever experienced
Can this adapter be use for non-honeywell thermostats? Nest? My ac unit looks like a rats nest with 4 to 6 wires of each color. I just want to use the thermostat without having to replace the batteries every few days.

If you have other fobs to enroll, what do you do at that point when you say to enroll it? Do I just hit the fob button or do I have to exit and start over the procedure?
It will take you to zone 57 which is the next avaliable. The keyfob uses 4 zones that's why it goes from 61 to 57. Follow the steps from earlier and you should be fine.

@@ResideoSupport Of course I have already pressed mode button and it goes from heat to off to heat again without the cooling indicator ever coming on. It is already too late the customer purchased a Sensi and I installed it. I will be seeing that customer again and maybe he'll have the stat still.

Why don’t I see an options button on my schedule screen?
Thank you for reaching out. If the thermostat original registration was made in the TCC portal and it is imported to the Resideo app these options are available only at the original platform. Some models will not display that option as the permanent or temporary hold are made directly from the main screen of the app where the thermostat setpoints can be adjusted. -Cesar

Also, this model of thermostat has the Minimum and Maximum Heat/ Cool Setpoint feature which will allow you to lock the temperatures. Hi, thank you for reaching out. If the heating system has only 2 wires (R-W) and there is no C terminal at the board the only way to supply the Common/C wire would be to use an external 24V transformer wires to the RC and C terminals of the thermostat. -Cesar

Absolute piece of shit product. Had it for 3 months and the air will not turn on at all and the smaller number at the top will not go below 83 while the big number in the middle stays at 87. Customer service number on the back in no help at all.

How does the K wire perform both the fan and the cool function?? I can understand how you could get three functions (fan, cool and heat) using two wires (K and W) with Boolean logic, but two functions on one wire like you say is a mystery. Do the thermostat change the voltage or frequency to the C-wire adapter to signal which output wire (Y or G) to turn on?? I'm just trying to wrap my head around how this works. Thank you.

I don't want any trade secrets from you on how the device operates, I'm just looking for assurance that this device can perform the task of two wires using just one wire. As long as I have the ability to control my furnace fan alone without having to turn the A/C on then I don't care how it does it.
