My name is Alex Turner and I Run this Channel Boards Bikes and Hikes! Snowboarding has for sure become my biggest passion, and I hope to one day live somewhere where I can do it more frequently and for a longer season. But I love to bike, hike, kayak, and anything outdoors really. I just love to travel and be outdoors; I don't like to ever slow down. My goal of this channel is too adventure as often as possible and take you, the viewer, along for the ride. Not only do I want to show you all of these places and experiences; but through my own journeys I want to be able to recommend different destinations, resorts, as well as the gear so that I can bring you the best of the best! and if you're planning a trip I can have content to better help you know what's there, what it looks like and hopefully some other tips as well!

We Found REAL Dinosaur Bones at Dinosaur Ridge in Colorado!
Have you ever wanted to see REAL DINOSAUR BONES? And real dinosaur tracks?! This was something that has always been on my bucket list was to see actual dinosaur fossils, not just replicas and when I realized this was something I could do in Colorado we immediately added Dinosaur Ridge into our Colorado family vacation! Dinosaur ridge was our first stop on our Colorado trip and it did not disappoint! You get to see actual dinosaur fossils, dinosaur footprints, plus they have a museum full of dinosaur artifacts and history of the Colorado landscape, as well as a few activities for kids. Definitely worth the quick drive from Denver if you’re looking for a great family adventure!

YES!! I SKIIED FOR THREE YEARS AND THEN SWITCHED TO BOARDING!! I am just as good on a board in four days of boarding as I was in three years of skiing! It’s def right for me!!

Ryze completely cured my erectile disfunction. 3 months ago I could barely get it up enough to make love to my wife, even with Viagra. After drinking Ryze I’m able to go from completely flaccid to raging stiff in just seconds. Incredible!!

Im really liking it! I used to drink coffee with (bad for you) Vanilla Creamer. I can say I'm fine with never going back to coffee. I drink Ryze hot or iced with just a little milk and honey. I'm almost done with my first bag!
I got one of these damned things and its not easy to ride. Very high learning curve.
How many days do you have on it so far? I agree it’s definitely got a hard learning curve. It took me much longer than I anticipated but now that I can halfway decent ride it, it’s so much fun😁
Trust me bro, once you get it, you've got it. It feels amazing to finally get that coast. My challenge is using the hooks
@@Jack-eDaytona right? The sensation you get from it is so much fun. It’s definitely scarier using the hooks, you get way more control, but it makes bailing a little more complicated.😂 they still make me nervous
@@BoardsBikesAndHikes yeah, when I first put them back on, I ate it, HARD. Took them back off out of fear, but I need to pop over cracks, so I'm going to have to suck it up and learn.
@@Jack-eDaytona I get that. Glad you’re ok! I did the same only crash I’ve ever had came from using them and not being able to bail. I came real close to taking them off as well but have left them on. Scares the heck out of me and makes me ride a bit more cautious but I’m slowly getting more comfortable and use to them

Thinking about this board. Have trs want something better in steep pow and trees any other suggestions?
For pow and trees I prefer the regular Orca more. Don’t get me wrong the golden orca is a beast but it just doesn’t have the float/surfiness that the regular orca has. It’s fun for charging through chunk and big terrain but where you have to work more to keep it afloat in deeper snow your legs fatigue a lot faster and so on trees it wears you out. It does well in every condition and makes a great “jack of all trades board” but since you already have the trs I’d say get the regular orca. The regular floats EFFORTLESSLY I had it the first time I had ever ridden powder in whistler and it was above knee deep and I had no trouble riding it. It also turns on a dime and just swivels through everything. It’s how I actually learned to ride trees as well on that board. I cannot stress enough how much fun it is, especially in powder 😁hands down one of, if not my favorite boards of all time

How far is your high back lean set to? I’ve got mine at like the halfway point and have always been able to step right in, but I have heard if you’ve got a more aggressive lean it can take almost a little hop on your heel to get it to fully engage

@@skiesandskis there was still quite a bit in a lot of the mountains. It was wild. It actually snowed on top of one of the places we drove up to called pikes peak. It’s 14,000 feet up and was snowing up there the day before we went

Can I mix this with foods I’m not a coffee drinker but am type 2 diagnosed with high blood sugar and having issues with nerves heard this helps so would this actually help towards that and can I take it with anything else mix it in to smoothies or food ? Thank you for any advice
@@Mike.9o yes you could mix it in with a smoothie. When I was on vacation I was throwing it into my protein shakes just to knockout my coffee and protein first thing in the morning.

Are you able to change the angle of the stick on your back can you move it slightly higher or lower?
@@-qj6ps yes! You can adjust the angle and the way it tightens it locks into place so once you set it, it won’t move
The rear shock of the strive has a lock, I mean if it locks completely, thank you

@@BoardsBikesAndHikes GoPro hero 11… I found a great deal on prime day with a huge accessory pack (which is great for me) and two extra batteries (great for skiing), so I decided to take it. Insta 360 just wasn’t in my budget this year 🤦♂️. I will buy it eventually though.

Unfortunately no. I absolutely loved the camera but sold it to a buddy to upgrade to the x4. I hope they eventually make a new version of it though because I loved the shape of it. If I wasn’t in the CZcams/content creation space trying to keep up with the “best” I 100 would still be rocking it
