Analog RF wireless audio - Better than Bluetooth?
900 MHz RF wireless headphones and speakers have been around for over 30 years, are 100% analog, and have at least twice the coverage of Bluetooth, with no lag or lossy compression. And they're still available new today, from brands like Sony and Sennheiser.

I'm in Australia, we had analog VHF/UHF TV much later than the USA, as late as 2013 in some areas. Before I retired I was a bus driver and the trips I used to do meant I'd be sitting in my bus for many hours after delivering the passengers to the show, match, wedding etc. that they were attending that evening. I used one of these little TVs for years powered from the auxilliary socket on the bus (there were 12 volt as well as a 24 volt sockets), it gave me AM/FM radio and TV which occupied my evenings. There's only so much bus cleaning or reading one can do and this little Black and White TV basically saved my sanity.
Just looking at some of your back catalogue… In my town in the suburban Philadelphia area, there were a few old lights like this until a year ago when the last of them that were still incandescent were switched to LEDs.
Musics fault. Not the walkman
So many songs I've heard on the radio back in the day and I still can't get it to sound like I remember e.g. what it's like by everlast. his voice sounded deeper and I could hear background instruments more. Smothered by spineshank I remember the chorus having more emotion, you could here the guitar more
Lowkey, these funny ejects have been part of what's been keeping me here for years and years (admittedly, what got me here in the first place was the video of the full sized Panasonic VHS camcorder in 2008 during the start of 8th grade for me).
VOTE PURPLE
Actually, "60's Dance Party" originally came out on records & tapes in 1982 - re-recordings and all!
I use 900MHz wireless headphones and it's so much better than bluetooth, like you said, no lag or lossy compression... but also, it just plain works. I used to hear my neighbour's cordless phone on them every once in a while... I wonder if they heard my music haha. That giant antenna is kinda goofy when the actual antenna inside is probably just a small wire lol.... but it was the '90s, it made it look futuristic and hi-tech lol.
Important note I'd like to contribute: I used to collect skateboard decks. The shrinkwrap also leaves a permanent "greasy" looking spots for decks that were wrapped for years. So anybody collecting vinyls that cares about the sleeves the vinyls are in, should also remove shrinkwrap so their sleeve doesn't get the ugly and splotchy grease stain.
A late comment LOL: Put a 10 gram stick-on wheel weight on the arse end of the arm, that gets the Crosleys down to just over 4G - the CZ800 is rated at 4-6G. Diamond vs sapphire doesn't make any sonic or wear difference - but most report that the rubber mounted aluminum shank vs all-plastic does affect sound. Sapphire should be replaced every 300 side plays (100 hours), diamond is good for 1500 side plays (500 hours)
I got the Cruiser premeer from walmart about half a year ago, and can tell they raised the quality some. It has a shock mounted meconism, the speakers/ outputs are properly impedance matched to each other, and the sound reproduction is about as good as I could expect from a cheep CZ800 clone. I've also got a Victrola Revolution go as well, which is a better portable unit with a magnetic at3600l and nice speakers, which has similar firmware to a unit reviewed on this channel fairly recently, so I have stuff in both super cheep and low end but decent ranges.
I just realized these videos about cassette decks has nothing to do with the hardware, but are simply a vehicle to showcase the most rare, eclectic tapes I have ever heard, and it’s fantastic!
A CAR CRASH? THAT'S AN OUTRAGE! IT'S A SCANDAL!
"ERROR!" "BOOK STILL ALIVE!" -bfdia
1. I mentioned you in my video I posted last weekend when discussing some cassettes ;) 2. I had some of these back in the mid-2000s (well I technically still have them), and they also carried video signal. I used to have huge parties and had professional PA speakers and such (still have them too, 18' subs and all LOL) and so the music outside would by transmitted to the other rooms in the house as well as the closed-circuit video of the "dance deck camera". I really loved these things, and they worked quite well!

In the UK we used a different frequency but it also was susceptible to interference. I had some wireless headphones but found they wandered away from the frequency so needed the tuning control to be adjusted quite frequently. I much prefer modern Bluetooth/Wifi headphones and speakers.
me ases un video de como grabar un casstte sin musica en ragrabadora con musicas de minecraft de los discos
Reminds me a lot of my Silver Marshall, sold by K-Mart. My amplifier/tuner and 8T/Cassette are separates, but they seem to share a lot of components. My silver marshall uses an acrylic diffuse, much like pioneer SX. I've never seen a plastic head carrier that isn't cracked. I cut the top off (where the retaining screw is) and epoxy them in with JB weld.
Don't sound to terrible. Tbh
Bad #Dymo, bad
You are wrong about Europe not using vhf. We use that in Norway in the 90’ channel 10 and channel 24 was use where i lived south in Norway.
In Spain the same, I remember that we only have two channels. "La Uno" in Uhf and "La Dos" in Vhf.

Great video, but .... ahh. You peeled off the manufacturers plastic film. I'm a "leave the film on" guy. It has to remain in place for "protection" until it peels itself off after about 5 years!!
what is the gerne of music at 11min called ( the 80s background sounding music)
This is the Rolls Royce of all in one hifis. I don't think anything else other than the Conion C-100F has LED and VU needle meters, thoroughly impressive.
I have one that spins and all the lights come on and it looks like its working yet has no sound
I think it's more about bass causing the stylus to skip and causing damage to the record. These songs you had playing did not have bass.
Nice video! In the car I thought you were going to drive away for a range test 😂
maybe the next model they make will have a removable battery and provide a tape to adjust the azimuth and speed
Porque a vida dos americanos sempre é tão fácil, no brasil um VCR custava o mesmo que uma geladeira

I'm reporting you to the FCC. Just kidding enjoy your night!
Maaan that thing is awesome
The elgato is not compatible with 240p sources like the NES. It tries to deinterlace the image as if it were 240i. This causes straight vertical lines to be jagged and text to be hard to read The similarly priced Japanese capture dongle from IO data also has the same problem, as do the cheap dongles, as do the rca to hdmi adapters. Most of the few new tvs with rca also have this problem. I bought a Chinese RetroTink 2x knockoff "retro scaler" that specifically promises 240p compatibility, yet it still has the exact same problem (plus several other problems) Turns out it's pretty hard to find a reasonable way to capture Nintendo footage from retro hardware, right now. But what's gross about the elgato being incompatible, is that Elgato is the first console capture card brand that retro gamers know about. I'm not sure why. Maybe their PCI cards used to be good?
Mastering Engineering and Equipment used is more important than whether the music is digital or analog.
I think you just summoned dark forces from hell.
Man, those video segments are like something from the start of a horror film, where they show a segment of TV and it's relatively normal but there's just something off about it. The buzzing, the awful audio and video quality, all of it just feels vaguely menacing to me.
