Ovrkast. is a lyricist and producer from East Oakland, CA. A product of the San Francisco Bay Area, his music is eclectic, soulful, and low key. In 2020, he released his solo debut album, Try Again, with an extended Deluxe version in 2021. “His raps drift along like dreamy hues floating over muffled instrumentals, evoking an impromptu jazz session,” writes KQED. His production style is influenced by Knxwledge., Odd Future, Capital Steez, and Flying Lotus while maintaining a distinct blend of minimalism that has defined his signature sound. Garnering national attention, he has collaborated with notable rappers such as Earl Sweatshirt, MAVI, and Pink Siifu. He is currently working on his next album.
