theres no option for that, but technically u can manually set the deadzone to be 2.0mm like a regular switch and tinker with the release distance, but why would u want to disable the rapid trigger? Theres no inherent downside to having it on

they have to have the hall effect things inside them, otherwise it wont work so you can diy some or get wootings lekkers and use the 0.1mm actuaction stably, because this isnt stable on 0.1

I think the stock settings will be fine for u, but u can copy the one I used in the video. 1 month later the only thing I changed was the deadzone to 0.1mm (2x0.05mm). Late reply so hope u alrd received ur sayobot keypad

It is, you just have to use the V3 interface on the website + some wringgle here and there. it only has a small memory storage build on, but i managed to change background to a picture and the sleepmode gif.@@seetecktee

If u are referring to the rapid trigger settings Press - 8x 0.05mm = 0.4mm Release - 8x 0.05mm = 0.4mm I referenced mrekks wooting settings for the actuation distance. Play around with it tho! For reference, regular mx switches actuate at 2.0mm (40x 0.05mm) and the actuation distance on the keypad can be set from 0.05mm all the way to 3.95mm (not sure why u would do that but it's possible to)

@strix This is the setting I didn't really understand so I just left it stock 😅 edit: deadzone is the distance (how far u press) before the switch actuates

Because of variance in manufacturing for each switch, some switches may press deeper than others, causing the hall sensor to read it wrongly. It's like an xbox analog stick, where u fully compress it but the sensor says its only at 80%. Calibration fixes this issue and makes it such that u can press the switch all the way from 0-100%
