Neem is abundant in Pakistan alhamdulillah. It’s beneficial for many ailments. I have started taking it to prevent diabetes. This afternoon I had two rotis for lunch with meat and potatoes. I had a cup of neem tea afterwards. Approximately three hours later my BG levels (because I feel asleep) were 5.0. This is super exciting. I have an anecdotal evidence of this. Before consuming a high amount of carbs or sugar. I took 4 capsules of bitter melon. After 1 hour my blood sugar is around 80 mgdl that's not what to expect after high amount of carbs. It will stabilise around 90 around 2 hour mark and it will only go down from there to normal. Also my pee smells sweet almost as this compund prevents me from absorbing some sugars. Only danger of this is taking too much or for too long because we don't know how it effects the body long term.
