Thank you for this. As a huge fan of the boys, season 4 is just lacking on what made it so great to begin with. Gone is the humor. The poking fun of BOTH sides. I found this new season to be such a depressing watch. I sat in silence, barely cracking a smile. Even the required gross out scenes fell flat. I will stick with it simply because I still am invested in the characters; even if all are just plain whining now.

As someone who is very left leaning, this season has felt a little bit too forced with the politics. I think I really like the more anti corporate themes the show had in the first three seasons and felt that it had been a little too lacking in this season.

Season 4 is absolute trash so far. Three seasons of character development seems to have gone out the window. I can’t believe how much they’re pushing the Frenchie gay storyline…..does anybody really care about that at all? First of all if you have a problem with there being fighting in the show maybe you shouldn’t be watching a show about 2 rivaling dojos. Mike Barnes put him through heck in the 3rd movie. And also about the thing with the slides, I don’t know if you saw the finish marks at the end of each slide but I’m pretty sure that means they were meant for racing.

making frenchie gay was unncessary and it didn't add anything to the story or advance the story in any significant or interesting way. the show should've ended with season 3, it's getting very tedious to keep having the boys team end up back at square one and not get any closer to being able to beat homelander and the other heroes
