little leaks turn into big leaks. do you plan on getting that repaired under warranty? how are they on warranty issues? i hear people bitching about warranty on several brands. mine has 81 hours and the only issue i had was bad switches on 3rd function hydraulics. i had to fix myself after waiting 5 months for dealer. id stay on top of leak before warranty runs out. at least get it documented in writing with a promise to repair under warranty. these days a hand shake promise is worth zero.(sucks the world is like that now) great video!

I dont think you put the o-ring side in the valve on the top 2 quick connects. Next time blow compresed air through all the hoses before instaling.

Looks identical to the summit hydraulics kit i have except for the control knob. I like the summit one much better. It also comes with the sleeves you said you thought the lp should have. And it was about $400 less.

I bought this same tractor........package deal. Trailer, bush hog, box blade. Had them ballast the rear tires when I bought it. Follwed Mason's video on installing the Land Pride 3rd function valve and bought a 60" EA Wicked Root grapple(the best grapple I've looked at). Installed a Lown Performance grill gaurd(for grapple work protection and one of their chain buckets). Replaced Kubotas little tool box with a 30 cal ammo box and moved the smaller one to fender(for cell phone, glasses, gloves, ect.) Just performed my 50 hour service. No issues with anything so far. It's perfect for the work I do around the farm. Had my first regen at 40 hours. Happened while I was out using the tractor. Bumped up throttle to turn off the heat light and kept working. 10 minutes or so and it was done. Fantastic machine, IMO.

DON'T use pvc it makes shrapnel when it fails. Plenty of cases and vids of it failing. Use PEX if ya wanna use plastic. It's been real world tested to survive up to 800-1000psi. Looks like you're using black pipe which will rust inside.

Sch 40 PVC is not a good idea. Fittings and Pipe cost a little more but the pressure rating and Burst strength of Sch 80 is MUCH Higher and safer. Sch 40 = 480 PSI Water Pressure max Sch 80 - 690 PSI Water Pressure Max. Air Pressure should never exceed 1/4 of Water Pressure Max rating as "Working Pressure" ie; sch 40 = 120# Max (ultimate max too, any more is grenade territory) sch 80 = 173# max ( comfortable margin of common 125# line pressure, 150# is still close ) All ratings @ 73* F - De-rated 12% per 10* rise. ex; 62% of rating @ 100*F, 22% of rating @ 140* That means only 43# working/line pressure at 140* PVC is not good for higher pressure. CPVC has Similar ratings, only about 10% higher

OK.......I was able to install my Land Pride 3rd function kit by using your instrcutions......I see why the PB hose couldn't be used to hook up to the valve body....wrong sized end of the hose........anyway, my electirc line from the joystick is pretty dang long.......in fact it's long enough to run all the way to the battery.....I had to cut the sheathing and cut the two black lines closer to the valve body to connect them......I left the two red wires intact and wired the fusable link to the postive battery terminal. And connected the two red wires to the other end of the link. Made things pretty neat and sheathed running from the joystick to the battery........One more question though......on top of the valve body there is a white screw on cap.......If you unscrew the cap, you can see down into the valve body......Anyone know what the purpose of that screw on cap is? Maybe it's a way to release pressure on the body and lines running to the front of the tractor so the connections don't get hydro-locked? Says nothing about it on the instructions or web. Thanks

Why did you have to "replace" the power beyond hose? Couldn't you disconnect the hose at the block and tie it in to the inlet on the valve. Then use a new hose from the outlet on the valve back to the power beyond port on the block? Or am I missing something? Why do you vae to replace the original power beyond hose with a new one from the kit?
