Random videos from around scenic Wisconsin & the Midwest of the US. I am just an old geezer who takes a camera along whenever I go walking. My camera of choice is a small Sony FDR-X1000V. Sometimes I will use either a Garmin Dash Cam or a JVC Everio. I also use a Canon EOS Rebel T5 on occasion. My preferred go-to camera is the Sony.
Summer at Bender Beach
A summer visit to a hidden gem of a beach in south Milwaukee County. The weather was hot and humid with the temperature about 90° F and 90% humidity. There is a good snack bar there and also Jet Ski and Kayak rentals. A place well worth visiting.

i love the little water fall. I couldn’t read the sign, you needed to zoom in on it or read it out loud so we all know what it says. When you were walking up on the building by the pond, both my cats reacted to the birds chirping. lol

I have never seen a pet cemetery before. In Canada they put pets in urns or bury them in your yards. Why can’t they be buried in the same cemetery as their pet owners?

In the 80's a lot of people fished here and netted smelt, caught perch, salmon, and trout. Now it's dead. No fish, no people. Very sad.

Those buildings are the Convent for the Sisters of St. Francis of Assisi.

I really love this video. The walk looks a little tough as you could lose your footing but what a beautiful site. I really liked the beach and the waves crashing into shore at the very end. Enjoy your weather. Here in Milwaukee we probably won't see any more until about New Years. Traditionally we get very little so when we do get some it is an event.
